How many online accounts have you crated in your life. I'm sure that the number is huge. I'm also willing to bet that you are not stupid enough to put too many compromising information into those accounts. You are smart enough to be on the STEEM blockchain. So you should know a thing or two about protecting your data and privacy.
But Here is The Biggest Risk
You might have revealed a tiny bit of information here and a another tiny bit there over the course of your lifetime. You may not even remember half of the accounts you have created. When I used https://www.deseat.me I found few of these things and I consider myself to be a significantly vigilant person who happen to oppose radical transparency because of the risk of data mining.
The little bits add up and increase your online presence which increase the amount of attack vectors a hacker can use to screw up your life. Just like you clean up your home, it is best to clean up your unnecessary online junk which could compromise your well being.
Getting Started
You can Log In with a Google account or a Microsoft account and get rid of the accounts created using these Google or Microsoft accounts. (Microsoft accounts include @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com and @msn.com)
After Signing In, You get a simple interface where you can pick what to do with each and every account. You can decide to delete the Microsoft or Google account itself.
Deaseat.me Use The OAuth 2.0 Protocol
It means that they do not have access to your login information. Basically it is like SteemConnect. The app runs locally on your computer and your privacy is protected. (According to them. I'm not a security expert)
