Pinar Yanardag, Manuel Cebrian and Iyad Rahwan from MIT Media Lab have created the first psychopathic AI with the help of a certain unnamed Subreddit. The project will give great insights into what create psychopaths as the project itself is a creation of a psychopath using machine learning algorithms.
What was the Subreddit?
The name of Subreddit is actually never mentioned fo various reasons. What is mentioned is that this particular Subreddit has a vast amount of violent content and the AI 'Norman' (As in the character from Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 movie Psycho) was fed image captions from the Subreddit and then the AI was given a series of Rorschach tests.

You Can Help To "Fix" The AI
The project doesn't merely end at making a psycho. It is asking you to get involved by visiting a survey to make the AI see the world in a different light.
A Small Note on Ethics:
No image of a real person dying was fed to the AI. The bias was created through feeding image captions from the Subreddit.

I remember this movie, it was called Virtuosity.
I saw it on Wikipedia. Was it good? Surely it was nowhere close to something like Psycho-Pass or Ghost in the Shell (Not the live action character assassination insult to the intelligence of the fanbase) But the cast seems good and I've been previously been lucky with some under the radar gems. Thirteenth Floor and eXistenZ were really great.
It wasn't bad, it was a while back so it might be even more interesting to watch to see what has actually come to pass that it predicts. Depends if you like Russell Crow or not.
I do like Russell Crowe. I might eventually get to the movie. Doesn't seem like ot'd be a priority though.
It was funny because it was about an AI programmed to be a sociopath and now they are really doing that.
