CETO harnesses the enormous renewable energy present in our ocean’s waves and converts it into zero-emission electricity and zero-emission desalinated water.

The CETO System consists of submerged buoys. These buoys are moved my ocean swell and drive the pumps that delivers pressurized seawater offshore for power generation.
Main Features:
- Converts ocean wave energy to clean zero-emission electricity and desalinated water.
- Eco friendly friendly, has minimal effect on marine life.
- Totally submerged in deep water, away from breaking waves and beachgoers, and unaffected by storms.
CETO 5 remained operation for full 12 month, making it only wave energy solution available full year; all four seasons.

This looks like an excellent system. The visual impact on the ocean is minimal as it is contained below the surface. Linking it to a desalinator could provide energy and water needs for many parts of the world where coastal communities suffer from scarcity of water or unreliable electricity. Very nice hunt.
