O2 Rescue is a portable anti drowning device. It provides breath to drowning person, keeping him/her alive for the time taken by the rescuer to reach.

Most people that are in a situation like that would panic. i don't honestly know how effective this would be. In theory it sounds great but in reality maybe not. The person using it in the video is an accomplished swimmer so they are not in that kind of situation.
