The Water-Gate Spill Dam is very effective since it enables to control, contain and collect toxic spill in emergency situations.
How is works?
It contains low release holes that can be opened to release the water from below and the toxins like hydrocarbons are skimmed from the top.
It also reduces the speed of water to further decrease the spread of contaminants.
