If there is no signal (or internet at all), the offline map can be very useful/helpful on the smartphone/tablet for travelling and vacation. CityMaps2Go is based on OpenStreetMap, and stores everything offline. It can search, use GPS, and knows almost every country on Earth. The free version can manage 5 destinations at the same time.

Great for me. Because when was visiting some place for travel , i couldn't find internet and i couldn't use map. Absolutely this app will help me in my next travels:)
These types of softwares/apps are getting popular now a days. We know about many people who lost their lives in wilderness etc, just because they lost their way to the human populated areas (these numbers are many times over if we include the people who are not on record), so these software/apps are well deserved to be popular and needed ones too.
It's good to have alternatives to the big names like google, apple, naver and baidu maps. I find that google maps works well offline though so not sure there is enough of a push to jump ship. Are there any other key features that help this one stand out?

I have used this amazing app. The offline feature to use downloaded maps with GPS has made our travels through Europe much easier than in previous trips. We can focus on enjoying our time and gaining new experiences rather than finding a location or event.
Tourists and those visiting virgin territories will find it very useful. Awesome hunt indeed!
As a traveller professionally and private, this is a must have app, absolutely worth the little money
This is a great tool for travelers, especially those who like going to off-the-beaten-path locations where Internet access is spotty, at best. This way, there's no need to worry about wi-fi signals and data plans because you'll always have access to your maps and other travel information offline. And with the 5 destinations limit, it looks like the free version is good enough for most travelers.

This is definitely incredibly useful and not sure why more people don't use it, too often have people ran out of data or been cut from a wifi connection when trying to locate a place with this you can simply store the map's offline to follow later.
