La (i) Latina and (y) Greek in Venezuelan schools

in #steemit6 years ago

In Venezuelan schools they have always said that there is (i) Latin and (and) Greek, especially when dictations are made, but revising the ALPHABET I realized that there is only one letter (i) which does not indicate if it is Latina or Greek, otherwise the letter (y) is pronounced "ye", then where did that come from (i) Latina and (i) Greek that they have always said in our schools, it is not better to say (i) or (e) ) so that it is better understood, in addition to the Spanish ALPHABET.

I would like to know your opinions on the subject.

Thank you
