Scientists are expected to unveil the first ever black-hole image ever made, a major achievement in astrophysics, and provide an opportunity for a better understanding of these massive gravity blocks, from which no body or light escapes.

The US National Science Foundation will hold a press conference in Washington to announce "the groundbreaking results of the Horizon Horizon Telescope project, an international partnership formed in 2012 to try to monitor the black hole environment.
The so-called horizon of the black hole is one of the most violent places in the universe. It is the point of no return. After that, everything from stars and planets is swallowed up into gases, dust and all forms of electromagnetic radiation, including light.

The participating scientists declined to look for the results before the official announcement, but they were clear about their goals.

The project aims to "capture the first black hole image," said Shepard Dolman, director of the Everett Horizon Telescope project and the scientist at the Harvard and Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics at an event in Texas in March. "He said.
The astrophysicist at the University of Arizona, Dimitrios Saltis, a project scientist, said the research would be a test of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, one of the pillars of science. This theory, dating back to 1915, aims to explain the laws of gravity and their relation to other forces in nature.

The researchers targeted two large black holes. The first is known as the Sagittarius E-Star, located in the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Its mass is about four million times the mass of the Sun and is 26,000 light-years away from Earth.

The other black hole is called "M87" and is located in the center of the neighboring Virgo A, and its mass is three and a half million times the mass of the sun and 54 light years away from Earth.

The size of the black holes and the formation of massive stars collapse at the end of their life cycle. The large black holes are the largest mass and swallow things and radiation and may merge with other holes.
