We hear a lot about or even see people who have been hit by the sun, but now they know that they are not alone in it, but have become a "human" companion.

NASA's "Artemis" mission has revealed that solar wind strongly affects the moon's surface, exposing it to the sun's rays, leaving scratches and scars on its surface.

NASA pointed out that the impact of the solar strike on the moon is due to weak magnetic field, according to the Fox News, the American news site.

"The magnetic fields act as the sun's shield," said Andrew Pope, an astronomer at the University of California at Berkeley, in a statement. "They distort the particles coming from the sun.
NASA has observed that unlike the Earth, the Moon does not have a single magnetic field, making the impact of wind and solar radiation clear.

According to NASA, the dark spots on the moon are caused by the chemical reactions between the particles coming from the sun with the Riggolith, a layer of dust and fragments of broken stones covering the moon rocks.

NASA noted that these dark areas have become more widespread and visible over the years, so that they can be seen from the ground.
