Win upto 128 Steem - My Story, my name is Namayd

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)
Hi my name is Namayd, I live in the city of Merida, one of the most beautiful in Venezuela. In 2 weeks I turn 22 years old (August 28) My story is the same as many Venezuelans! We need money, for nothing but basic services, mainly eating, that's what I need most!

I have thought about emigrating, as much of my family and friends have done, but I can not! My grandfather died 2 months ago, because of the lack of medicines and instruments to counterattack cancer! and that's why my grandmother was left alone, since my uncles emigrated 1 year ago. So we were alone she and I, I can not leave her, she will not want to leave the country, so I must stay here with her, while I finish my university career (geography, I have left like 1 year of study)

I thought months ago that I would go crazy with this situation, the depression is sometimes very strong, having to endure the departure of my grandfather, the departure of a large number of relatives, friends, the loneliness that is lived in this country, the chaos and inefficiency. And not to mention the constant inflation, which every day makes everything worse. As it may be that $ 1, is equivalent to almost 4 million bolivares, what a barbarity! It is impressive how everything goes up, in January a simple box of 24 eggs, cost less than 500 thousand Bolivares, today it costs more than 5 million Bolivares.

Only one thing has given meaning to my life, these last 3 months, and it has been steemit, thanks to steemit, I have been able to help me in my studies and with my basic needs. Steemit changed my life, even more than the whales that have a lot of money here. I feel even more pleased than them, I am a small fish, my portfolio is small, my SP limited and even so Steemit has raised my morale, helped me as never before had done something else.

The truth is I do not like to ask for anything from other users, and I try to keep my nationality hidden, I do not like to give pity. Neither beg for the situation, I do not ask for steem, I do not ask SBD, my goal is to get SP, win and win, to have a better future, backed by Steemit, I trust this page, I trust this currency and I know it can take me Something very big.

He was my grandfather, an admirable man, this portrait was made by a steemit user (@luxx)

I do not know how my life would be in this situation, if I had not known steemit. Little by little it has helped me more and more, every time I advance more, although the country is destroyed at a faster pace. Lately I have had to be short, I almost did not take money from steemit, because of the low prices, with the hope of a rise soon, so as not to run out of savings, they are few, but they are useful for me in the Venezuelan situation.

To all the people of the world, that some may feel discomfort with the subject of Venezuela, or because they have emigrated a lot, I hope they understand us, we were a rich country, we have a lot of potential to do it, but this was taken to chaos because of socialism and corruption, understand that some people seek luck in countries like yours, for a better quality of life. Here in Venezuela quality has been lost. Everything is inefficient and nothing can be done.

When I say you can not do anything, it's the truth. Mobilizing is a big problem, there is no transportation. In my house, we were middle class, a couple of years ago and in so little time, we lost 3 cars, because of the shortages and the costs of the spare parts. We ate everything we wanted, now as almost every day, and of lesser quality, with food that the government sells and which are very bad. Because buying good quality food is very expensive, as they are smuggled.

This was my family before the situation, we were many, and because of the situation, almost everyone migrated. Of this picture, only my grandmother, my 2 brothers and I remain, the others help us from abroad in other countries, I miss them a lot.

I would definitely use this steem fund, to help my family, especially that, I would also use it to turn on my SP, a bit, start little by little to receive more, and so in less than 1 month, go over 100 SP and dream in bigger.

I hope this will change, at some point it will, this government will go away and many will return to Venezuela, while I hope that Steemit will help me not emigrate for a better future and that way I can accompany my grandmother forever, I love her so much. Thanks!

For you @erodedthoughts Thanks for the opportunity, I hope to be lucky. I will be of great help, I hope to help many Venezuelans in steemit who are striving to improve their quality of life. Sorry for my English, I do not handle it perfectly and I wanted to show better things in this publication, more pictures about the situation and that, but I'm short on time and resources, I could not publish my link to this contest before, I hope I can still participate. Thanks friend!
