Much Awaited ICC World Cup Match India vs Australia

Here we are with India vs Australia match just about to begin as I write this with India winning the toss and deciding to bat first on a hot day.

Both teams are going into the match without any change in team combination and that shows their confidence in their teams although Australia had a tumble in the last match against West Indies before their middle and lower order rescued with useful contributions from Steve Smith and Nathan Coulter Nile.

This match is significant although it's just like any other matches for both teams in terms of finishing in top 1 or 2.

I have read that Australia never lost chasing since 1999 World Cup, but India is going against all odds and have decided to bat first, letting Australia to chase.

India would want their top 3 Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and captain Virat Kohli to fire in order to give their middle order more confidence with runs on the board.

Their bowling has already showcased they can be lethal with Jasprit Bumrah breathing fire and is virtually unplayable most of the times.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have also contributed well with Chahal taking all important wickets in the match against South Africa.

I feel Hardika Pandya has a key role to play in this Indian team as the England pitches suites his kind of bowling and we already know his batting capabilities.

Australia on the other hand, would like their top order to get runs after that match against West Indies.

Aron Finch, David Warner, Steve Smith, Glen Maxwell and their allrounders can pose threat to Indian bowlers and their new ball bowling in Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins is one of the best in this tournament with Nathan Coulter Nile is due for some good bowling and spinners Adam Zampa and Glen Maxwell also among the wickets.

It should be a cracker of a match and hope India comes out winners.
