Steemit.com Alexa Rank Just Keeps Dropping
There is no sign of the end in sight for the current decline in Steemit.com traffic rank. After dropping below 3000 worldwide, the slope of the decline is sharper than ever. As I mentioned in a previous post, Steemit.com now has lower traffic than the same time last year, and the price of Steem is lower as well.
At this rate, we should drop below the rank of Bitcointalk.org again within a couple of months.
Web rank is declining in pretty much every region, including the regions that had shown promising growth in recent months such as Venezuela. Interestingly South Korea is now growing somewhat, but not nearly enough to change the overall trend.
Some people will argue that traffic is simply moving to other front ends. If that is the case, please show me evidence of significant traffic for any other Steem front end. The mobile apps still have way too few downloads to come anywhere close to replacing the lost traffic on Steemit.com
I'm glad I'm not the only one worried about this.
I have been concerned about this for a while now and yet no one seems to want to listen to me.
Something is wrong and it is really concerning me probably more now than ever.

its simple enough
main reasons googles bots are deranking:
GDPR: no steem sites i've used have GDPR so searches are effected in Europe soon to be be expanded.
Copy pasted articles,Spam, illegal promotions, scams, bad links
The latest drop began just before the start of October. According to Alexa we've had more or less the same % traffic from search engines in October as September.
GDPR activated
Search engine traffic % peaked over 1 month after that.
i was mistaken on the date it was activated,
28th of May 2018 not April so ties in with the peak of traffic
also
deep learning bots increase efficiency overtime
another big SEO factor(Pagerank) being implemented right now is detecting and deranking sites with auto(bot) posts
