JSECoin To Launch AdExchange Platform Next Week

in #steemit5 years ago

In a blog post published a few hours ago on their main site, JSECoin announced the launch date for their ad exchange platform: it will happen next Wednesday, February 13rd.

JSEcoin ad exchange allows publishers who are incorporating JSE script to earn extra revenue from advertisers. There will be the standard bidding procedure you would expect in an ad exchange, meaning advertisers will bid for your ad space, like in AdSense.

What I found to be very relevant, though, is that JSECoin - the company - will not receive any commission for the payments from advertisers to publishers. That's right, 100% of the price paid will be sent to you, the publisher - in JSE tokens - obviously.

Don't expect to see any changes immediately, there will be a delay required to fine tune the whole mechanism. Ads will appear exactly one week after the official launch, starting Wednesday, February 20th.

If you're asking yourselves why you're getting 100%, well, because the goal is to generate demand for the token. If the token price goes up - because there's demand for it - then there's no need for any commission. Hence, we'll just have a a viable alternative for AdSense.

I'm really curious to see how this will go on. As one of the very early adopters of this platform, I keep their code on a few websites and I'm looking forward to see how the whole thing will unfold.

Last, but not least, some of the advertisers that JSECoin ad exchange will start with are: Booking.com (travel), Plus500, eToro (trading) and AliExpress (online shopping). All these are major players and, to be honest, I didn't see any of them on your regular, crypto-powered ad exchange (like a-ads, for instance).

If you don't have yet an account with JSECoin, you can still join by following this link (disclosure: this is an affiliate link).

Wanna know when you're getting paid?

I know the feeling. That's why I created steem.supply, an easy to use and accurate tool for calculating your Steemit rewards

It's free to use, but if you think this is a useful addition, I'd appreciate your witness vote.

Thank you!

@dragosroua,
That would be a great idea to give 100% to the token holders! Nice and innovation brings into Blockchains! Somehow STEEM could absorb such ideas as well!

Cheers~

That can be great monitization way now

i was thinking to get it when it was launched but it was more of a pump and dump coin they had a great vision but things don't go their way hopefully it will change things they need liquidity and more exchange listing soon

I met the team behind this project in person and I never got the feeling of a "pump and dump coin". Looking at the historical price feed on Coinmarketcap I can't even identify the pumps and the dumps... As for liquidity and exchanges, I think they are on two for now and that's enough. If there will be demand for it, exchanges will ask for it.

Great news to see an update from them. It has been awhile, but always liked the platform. Done some early mining with them and purchased a few when they first came out. Thanks for taking the time to write and post this.

You can mine it trough a browser right? Wonder if you create a website that would reward users with steem for mining :)

Yeah, you mine it with a small JavaScript code that is loaded and which is actually searching hashes. Their code is open sourced on Github, you can have a look if you want.

As for a potential Steem / JSECoin combination, I actually thought about something else: why not giving Steemians the option to use JSECoin as an alternative to AdSense ads?

If @ned is not keen on that, I might throw one of my steem-related domains to this one, wrap up some patches on top of condenser and see if it catches on.

That would be cool!

Use coin is a promising project that I do beleive is a good and strong rival to Adsense @dragosroua

This is cool to hear.
