I would generally find this quote quite clichรฉ, but it really came to heart in this specific situation.
Setting targets for yourself is very important. If you have no drive, or something to work towards, then what are you really even doing anything for?
With that being said, setting goals are crucial, as well as hitting those milestones.
It's been quite an incredible journey so far. It feels as if I have been here far longer than the actual amount of time. At the same time, life feels like it's moving way too fast lately!
I think my biggest lesson here so far has been the simple 'do not give up' attitude. Just making sure things play their part, and being confident in your abilities. That way of thinking can really help a person go the extra mile.
Having that hustle mentality can also do wonders in progress.
I remember reading a book once about making leaps of progress. Doing something called a 'launch'. That is what is needed to really take off in anything you want to achieve. That is also where @grantcardone's 10X Rule can relate very well. I just mentioned @grantcardone, so there is a 70%+ chance that @stackin is going to post his picture of him and Grant here! :D I'm laughing hard when typing this!! @stackin, stay awesome bro!
I don't want to try and be any kind of guru. My words are simply what I am experiencing, and the way I truly feel. You may take from my word however you would like.
You know, satisfaction is a strange thing to accomplish. In our heads, we think that we will be satisfied when we reach a certain destination in progress, however that satisfaction is never as strong as we think it will be.
I sort of have that reaction to my current progress on Steemit, if I am being honest. I have been told multiple times that my current progress has been impressive considering the time period of which I have been here, but I feel like it has not been good enough. 'Did I maybe set my standards too high?' That is the question rolling in my head. However, at the same time, not being satisfied is also one of my biggest motivations to work harder.
I am very grateful to have found this platform this year, compared to missing even more opportunity in the next few years. Although the people who were working their blog's here last year had a ton more opportunity, we still have incredible potential to do amazing things here. For that, I am feeling an utter sensation of abundance!
This post was actually a little delayed. I reached 2000 followers about 13 hours ago already, but had to finish my previous post series. I also reached Rep 64, and 6500+ posts today.

I can relate to the fealing that we never can appreciate our situation. I am just about one week longer than you here and also have had a pretty nice run so far. But not as good as you. So there it is, the nagging feeling of you could and should have done more. But I guess it is ok!
Because then we can see the potential of what we can achieve with 10x more power.
Amen to that brother. I suppose that was a pretty solid example of the satisfaction.
It's just a constant game of improving. I think the most important thing is simply be honest with yourself. Not selling yourself too short by trying to make the situation better than it is.
Just being real, and identifying your true progress. For example, my current progress has been with 40% focus. The rest of the time, even though I've been here, has not been productive time. So just admitting that will take you a long way.
Now it's just time to come in harder and stronger :)

Right, I am also quite inefficient currently. Only four posts a day a few dozens of comments is not enough. I think it could probably be twice as productive as I am now each day. At least.
