You lost your password ??

That is what I asked when Sharon asked me how to get a new password for her steemit account.

I said to her I told you to save it in different place and locations when you opened your account.

I said when you generated your password the page gave you the rules

The first rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The second rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The third rule of Steemit is: We cannot recover your password.
The fourth rule: If you can remember the password, it's not secure.
The fifth rule: Use only randomly-generated passwords.
The sixth rule: Do not tell anyone your password.
The seventh rule: Always back up your password.

Sad to say she did not listen to steemit or to me, and so her brand new account and her first blog

post have gone to waste.

So now she sits and waits for a new account.

So make sure you have your password saved in different places offline print it off and keep it in a safe place.

in other words SAFE YOUR PASSWORD
