It was incredibly a blast, awesome people, comfy environment, great presentation.

After 20 days I haven't post and not active in Steemit due to unexpected circumstances that I am going to deal with my family as my one and only loving brother passed away by the age of 29 due to heart failure. See previous post on my account.

Today I am ready, back on track with full of positivity , motivation and a feel-good energy.

THE PREPARATION

As part of the @steemph.cebu core leader. The @steeemsummit coordinators approached us and asked for assistance upon organizing the event. We had brainstorming 2 months before the event. We finalized and sat th date on April 22, 2018.

It went very well and we are truly impressed on the presentations and planned they showed on supporting Filipino community as this could be one of the biggest event in the Philippines. There are also contests and challenges that will be featured. Plus prices and freebies. Visit their account to view more activities.

EVENT DATE

We asked steemians to volunteer when it comes to the props, entertainment, arranging the area and so on. The venue was open at 10.am until 7pm.

THE VENUE

Cool, cozy and comfortable atmosphere. An all-in-one venue that we can hang and display the exhibits from the winners of the contests and challenges such as poems, art and travel photography and curied posts featured winners.

REGISTRATION

I was task to assigned in the registration booth where we have to assist steemians and non-steemians to fill out the forms, on the table there are some freebies which includes steemsummit stickers, notebook, keychains and stickers for steemit promotion.

HOW IT STARTED

It started with an opening prayer and a welcome address by the steemsummit coordinator @thegaillery. Followed by a brief steemit introduction by the two Philippines Bayanihan Curators @jassennessaj and @themanualbot.

They explained how steemit works, motivation and how the cebuano community expand thru communiy campaigns, sport events, charity projects and other promo-steem related activities.

• THE HIGHLIGHTS
