I have moved all my content away from the now centralized and controlled Steem blockchain to the decentralized Hive blockchain.

This is exactly the right word at the right time. There is a shortage of patience and persrverance in this world. Most people don understand that the money market is such a volatile thing. Nothing is steady and fixed and that even makes things exciting. We can be surprised tomorow if the value of steem goes up. For me, am sticking around. Sir @flauwy i follow you and would love to learn character animation.

All platforms on the internet or in real life have "crooks" who execute the utilizes rules and loopholes in the system.
so we who genuinely like us here just have to forget about them. we can hope that the good one is is winning the war.
As you say, do your best and do not check the price in some time. just make good posts and give it half a year or so. As a pioneer, it is now that we can lay the foundation on the future here.

I think the Steemit ecosystem is a disruptive technology that will change the world. As far as specific apps, I think that Steepshot and similar apps that let users easily and quickly post will be some of the biggest drivers. DTube, of course as people move off of the demonitizing YouTube, will also play a role for those who use this format.
Once we overcome the current barrier to entry to make sign-up fast and easy, we will truly see a flood of new users. I think right now we are less than a million active users? Of course this is nothing compared to the current popular mainstream apps.
I am very excited as you point out, that this is indeed a game changer, and once we get some of the new changes in that allow for quick adoption, we are really going to see rapid growth.

That is quite an inspirational speech. I agree, Steemit is an amazing platform, and I do firmly believe it will grow exponentially even more than it is right now. After time, perhaps dtube might even grow to be more popular than YouTube. (Which would be a dream come true)
But yeah, even though everything is going down, I'm still on Steemit, I'm still in crypto and I'm not going anywhere.
And like you said, even when there are low payouts or flag wars or whatnot, it's still good to keep going on Steemit because the better the community handles it, the better these things will get once the downtime passes, everything will spring up quite well if the community stays positive

This is the problem about people. If there is any temporary "trouble" or things aren't working out immediately as they want to, they start complaining instead keeping in mind all the very, very positive aspects. Some dance in the rain and some just get wet, I guess. Let's be dancers! :)

Completely agree that it will change but dtube in particular has worked a lot on the system but if they could provide better option to stream in the quality we want then it could be more hit as many times the video stuck in the between and no user will want to wait that much for just a video
