Givememonsters DEC Upvote Bot Will Be Pausing To Recharge
The significant drop in Steem prices has significantly impacted our ability to provide STEEM upvotes. While we can still provide a slew of steem-engine token upvotes our STEEM upvote has fallen along with the prices.
Once the bot recharges we will reassess how the bot functions and move from there. We will likely continue to take DEC submissions and may not change the rates much since we're still providing benefits for the various steem-engine tokens but there will be another update to come soon.

@manniman we definitely will be back up and running soon. It’s just that because the steem price has dropped so much it’s draining the VP more rapidly. Our upvote used to be worth $0.06 at 100% and because we only offered $0.04 at the max we had VP to spare and it recharged quickly. Now the 100% upvote is below $0.04 and rapidly falling, it’s sitting at about 30% right now so we need to get that back up. We’re also looking for other ways to try to promote growth by building out a Steem Monsters deck we can play with to earn some DEC and sell that where we can to generate some more steem, we trying to build up our SBI shares to grow through some small amounts of additional post rewards and we’re slowly earning some curation on our Steem-engine tokens so it may take a little while to right the ship but we’re making efforts to try to get there as quickly as we can.
