One of the most important keys to your Steemit journey is building solid relationships. I liken Steemit to a melting pot because there is literally an abundance of people here from all corners of the Earth and it's amazing to say the least. Learning from people who come from a different part of the world is undoubtedly one of the best parts about living. It was roughly 10 months ago I met a guy from Germany who would soon become one of my great friends. Steemit just happened to be the conduit to facilitate a budding brotherhood that I'm humbled to be a part of to this day. Here's to a great friend and also to those of you who may be coming to Steemit not knowing exactly how to make the best of it. I actually found your content because of him, and yes, he did the same thing to me, pushing me to post as much as I could, create content, create posts, comments, etc...
Steemit changed my life to a whole lot better because I feel realized, I'm a student but a couple of years ago I screwed up and kinda "stopped studying" while still attending classes, I screwed up and when I got back on track all my friends had finished college or were about to finish college, some were already getting money, I was feeling down because it was like I wasted 3 years of my life, but steemit made it better because I can create content while I'm still studying!
Not only that but since I put my words into text form I also got a confidence boost because I see other people reading my content and replying to me, some have been through hardships like I did, Philip, for example, had some of the troubles I had with girls, depression, life. Steemit made me more extrovert!
Steemit is bringing the world together and that is one of the things cryptos are and should be aiming for :)
You said at 4:20 mark you don't know where your tribe comes from in africa, that doesn't matter, your tribe is now in a country called Steem! Glad to have you on our country, we are all one big ethnic and culturally different tribe here :)

@humanearl I totally agree with you @valorforfreedom is a great guy and a great friend of mine as well. Honestly I hold both of you (Earl and Phil) in very high regard. I am honored to have met you both and humbled to call you both friends. Recently Phil interviewed me (and MR. RED) and we had a blast. Great post man as always just keep doing what you are doing.
That's awesome to hear about some of the friendships you've made on here. It's really not about the money for most of the people. Their accounts are too small for it to matter. So it's great there's value in the people and the friendships. I've really appreciated hearing your words of encouragement and inspiration. It's been a blessing to have such a positive influence on the Steem blockchain.
As I've found my little niche with the steemsilvergold community it makes it much more exciting to be on steemit because I know I can engage with people I know who have similar interests. It's fun to bond over those things. The money may come eventually, but even then, I want the friendships to be the most important aspect about it for me.

Steemit is more than just a social platform for making money. In my subjective opinion, Steemit is a big family. These are people who have a common goal - to develop, to benefit and interact with each other. (there are bad people here, but they are in the minority) Interaction is the main factor of development here.
Thanks to Steemit, I met many wonderful people from different countries. To some extent, this changed my worldview. I began to look at things in a different way, speaking in simple language - began to think more globally. I got here by accident and I'm very happy about it!
@humanearl, That's most valuable Dtube contest video you shared to real followers. I know steemit change my whole life and gave financial freedom. I'm currently working in PVT company. But steemit gave benefits than my salaries. We can meet best steemians in this platform. It's better than earn money in steem blockchain.
@valorforfreedom, has helped a lot of people on steemit. I'm grateful for the guidance he has provided me through his Steem School.

You telling very true @humanearl. Steemit making money from various ways. But if you get massive friendship through there what's amazing moment. Actually build up best relationship from steemit important than making money here.
