Without doubt, surviving on Steemit requires that you build a sustainable relationship.
If you really want to thrive on this platform, you obviously cannot do that on your own.

Where I am today is largely because of the relationships I have built with people and platforms overtime.
And where I want to be soon will also be based on the relationships I am or will build in the nearest future that'll take me there.
No one succeeds on his own, he needs the help of others to make it work.
And that is why the need for establishing a sustainable relationship on Steemit cannot be overemphasized.
Show me someone who is well known on Steemit platform and I'll tell you about how the person has successfully built his relationship overtime.
Building relationship is one of the fastest ways of attaining success on Steemit. If you are able to build relationships with different whales, you may get support from them which increases your post payout.
To thrive in communities such as this, a relationship is needed to be established for successful sailing.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "Two heads are better than one?"
Well, that's because they really are.
Importance Of Building A Relationship On The Platform
1. Support
Support can come in form of upvotes or more. Most times, people tend to upvote those whom they have built a relationship with overtime. Someone who has steadfastly built a stable relationship with someone will most likely receive support from his/her friends when the time comes.
2. Encouragement
There are times when we feel down and need encouragement even on the platform. Friends we have made overtime on the platform will be the ones to encourage us if need be.
Encouragement can come from either you or the person you've built a relationship with. There are times I've had to talk to some persons just to encourage them and there are also times I have had to listen to persons to be encouraged and it's all because I have formed a relationship with them.
3. Information
Just imagine if you're a lone wolf, keeping all to yourself, how would you get in the know of some of the happenings on Steemit.
Most of the valuable information gotten was due to the relationship I have built with people overtime.
In a nutshell, building relationships is the best key to make you successful not only on Steemit but also in other aspect of life.

Sometimes I wish people like you that have managed to scale the hurdles of building steemit friendship give a more direct guide. Everyone knows the importance of building friendship in communities like this just like we all know how good food is to the body.
Sometimes, we need someone to tell us a particular kind of food that has been beneficial to his/her general well being. What am I saying in essence; let us know how and what you did to make your relationship building on this platform a success. I think those guides will be more beneficial to the average newbies out there.
