๐ I have tried several times to run different contests here on Steemit (with little support) in order to help out the community and minnows to gain more followers / meet new people and maybe win some money as they make 0 dollars on their posts unless we pay for bots! Contests are a great initiative for the community, but they can not succeed without support or sponsors with big wallets! So unless I can get a Weekly sponsor of even a small amount , I will have to cancel the #foodboasting Contest which I also started in order to create a new tag! Thanks and Good Luck!

Oh no!!!!!! Dont give it up me dear. Keep the contest going, no matter how small the payout is. It will be trending soon, we just have to be patient. And dont pay bots to promote it. I cant atract new people without trying to promote it and by giving little prizes its harder to get people to enter, plus its a lot of work for me to make nothing back to keep helping others. I hope you will receive more support for Food boasting as I like the contest. I find it extremely sad that Steemit has been taken over by bots. I guess there are so positives but it seems that one must now pay to get upvotes. hmm

Yes I agree, its sad indeed. Hopefully someone will sponsor it on a weekly basis otherwise I just cant keep paying the money on bots unless its worth it, its a lot of work as well, and giving out small prizes will not attract more people. So We will see. thanks for your kind reply!๐โ๐
