Back To Dolphin-dom
Yet Again!
I started blogging here in August of 2016, posting daily with no followers or Steem, save the few they gift upon joining.
I fully knew and excepted that any venture takes dedication, diligence and fortitude to gain momentum... so onward ever onward.
Although currently at the highest reputation I have had, the blog here touched Dolphin-dom (level) for a brief time, where upon it went through several power downs. This was done to invest in many other digital assets for which I am grateful, thankful and happy. I reached just over 10 million vests needed to make the Dolphin level, which was cool as my votes meant a lot more to people in monetary terms.
Now I still need to gain back 1.05 million vests yet to regain that level, but I know it will happen, but here is an interesting thought.
Look at this image - it speaks volumes:
Notice they are all over the place, each wandering in the vast space... together but with no direction... such is the life or ways of the Minnow.
They know the community, but have no directional goal they just hang around in the group and are a part of the larger community.
The difference is direction... just look at these images of Dolphins:
And they all are smiling full faced
Why because, they are not wandering, they are working in a like direction adding value to each other just by playing alongside each other. They are nimble and responsive, always in tune with the community no wonder they got smiles!
I noticed as I was at the Dolphin stage, I was humming along, more a part of the community and platform... funny thing is when you power down the focus, sense of community and fun also power down until... you swim around looking for direction again.
You have to wonder if the person that first coined these terms had this in mind?
And one last thing to think about...
Dolphins live longer than minnows

Many of them come here for rewards and without any, they quit.
To get, one must give... and unfortunately for most, they forget to give first. It is like that proverbial cup, no one will pour more tea into a full cup... once the tea cup has been totally emptied, can it be totally filled... however drinking for oneself to gain more is only gluttony.
The images and the inspiration of this post have the necessary congruence to be a great motivation and guidance in this vast sea! A pleasure to read it!!

The way I got to Dolphin and will return, is to try to add poignant comments or questions to a post that intrigues me. That is the way to gain more followers, asking for them does not help.
