How to Win at Steemit - How YOU can make an income.....if you've got a load of cash to start with. This is kind of like a reverse Follow Friday post :-)

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)

As the recent price of Steem plummeted, conversely, the whales and dolphins came out in force to tell all us nobodies to keep posting, work hard on your content, like a communist government attempting to brainwash everyone into thinking that content is king.....

Hello there my Steemit friend:
I'm sure that today is one of those rough days when its extra hard to keep a smile on your face. This is precisely why I decided to write this post at this moment, because I realize that you might be feeling very disheartened, very disappointed with the current market valuation. If you are feeling panic, if you are feeling stressed, I hope this open letter gives you a reason to remain calm and keep your hopes up.

It does, wow.....seeing this post in trending and currently sitting with a $1540 reward......really motivating, hope all you Indian newbies out there are feeling full of vigour and ready to write.....

You will also be pleased to know he's written a follow up telling us all to 'Recognize an Opportunity', if you fancy more vomit inducing condescending bollocks, be my guest.

Come on Steemies, dominate your emotions.......

Next up, a little bit of motivating @dlive with @hiroyamagishi . 7 Reasons that Low Payout is not the Reason to Give up on Steemit
Like the 7 Habits of Highly Successful people, except written by someone begging us not to leave Steemit so we can continue to fill his pockets while he pats us on the head and says 'keep up the good work'.

A particularly nice touch from this greedy shit, as well as his huge self-upvote which he does both to all his posts and all his own comments, was to not bother upvoting any of his commenters until right after the time I called him out on it, and he went back to upvote a few. Don't believe me? Go back and check steemd at the timings!

Just for extra cash, he then reposted his @dlive video as a @dtube video just to rake in a bit extra!! Quality

So come on, how do all us little 'uns make money?

Simple, firstly you get $10,000 USD, beg, steal or borrow it and convert it to Steem, 5000 of these Steem you power up as SP, the rest, divide it by 14.

"Hang on, where the fuck am I going to get 10 grand from?"

Cried 90% of the members here from Philippines, Indonesia, Africa, Venezuela, India etc etc....

Seriously, how would I know? It's not my fault you were born there, it's just the luck of the GeoDNA lottery, get over yourselves and keep watching the lucky ones in the US and Europe having a great time and eating n stuff like that.... Do I look like fucking god?

"But content is king! Steemit empowers people to better their lives. Blockchain removes power from governments and Central Banks and creates a fairer world where people will no longer need to go hungry...."

Oh for fucks sake. My heart pumps purple piss for you, but seriously....none of this is true, don't listen to the shysters who try and tell you differently. Especially the so-called libertarians and voluntaryists, they don't care a shit about you. They just want to be king of their own castle, polish the guns they have a right to own and to hell with everyone else.

Anyway, shut-up moaning, I'm telling you how to make loads of cash here...

So, now you go out with your camera, take 14 photos and post 2 per day, and using your 14 piles of steem, for the first week spend it on upvote bots, as most of them don't give a fuck what you're posting.

Secondly, Self-upvote your own 2 posts a day, then go find another 8 posts from anywhere and type in an inane shite comment, again giving yourself an upvote.

After only 3 or 4 months, open a new Steem account, transfer across all that you've earned so far and repeat....

Trust me, you're going to make a fortune.

Except for you poor people, sorry poories. Keep commenting and hoping for a 0.01cent upvote or a few more bonus crumbs as the rich become richer and you...errr.....don't.

But hold on. To be right, if you are poor, this system will work for you too, even if you only have a couple of dollars to invest, except, of course, it will take you forever to earn even 3 dollars a day, but hey, you're poor, be grateful that that's a bonus.....

So let's have a look at my plan in action, in all its greedy money generating glory.

Ladies and Gents, I give you my heroes.....

This is what you too can achieve with a pot of cash to start and a lot of self-upvoting :-)

So no, on Steemit content is not king. Money is, and those who have it want to keep it and get more using the people who haven't, just like any other facet of life. Because as in the real world, on Steemit, money makes money. Content is secondary. If you want great content, go to Medium, or hunt out Wordpress blogs or read any number of media outlets, but don't bother coming to Steem. There is some great content here but the time you take to find any completely negates its value.

Don't listen to the bullshit about empowerment and freedom and a new social media. It isn't. It's simply a computer game where you make money, the amount depending on how much you have to buy in.

Accept that's all Steemit is. We can choose to play, or we can choose not to. That's our own free will. But simply understand the game for what it truly is, and not what those with a vested interest tell you it is!

Thanks for dropping by. Your Upvotes and Resteems are gratefully received but your comments and engagement are truly appreciated. Let's keep up the debate. Thank you

Ah, now I understand all those add-nothing comments with a fat self-vote on them. You've got to admit it's a sensible strategy for cash-rich-and-getting-richer time-poor people 😊

I do. Its a great way to make money for those with money. Much better than most if not all traditional investment vehicles. Its just the greed and lack of sharing amongst the poorer folks that annoys me. There is so much potential here to help people if the big fish here werent too busy lining their own pockets.
It just reflects the normal world, so I see no great revolution taking place other than a way to enjoy a little more financial anonymity, and again, as in the real world, its the wealthy with most to gain.
I spend a lot of time studying behaviour here and the majority of it is greed and selfishness.
As for the ability to transfer money around more cheaply and easily, i just transferred some money out to someones bank account, but it cost me a total of about £3, which is cheaper than western union, and only took a total of about 45 minutes, but still, when you use poverty line amounts as a base, its a lot of money.
Its transfer of money that is key. In many microworking communities where people may be earning just a couple of dollars a day, gettingthat cash in their hands to buy real stuff with is top priority. Blockchains are not yet making this process cheap enough to be useful.

That's interesting about the cost of transfer fees (I guess almost the cost of entry for many).

@nathen007, I liked your sincerity. Now tell me, what are the bots up, I have no idea. I have never used them. PLEASE!

I meant the upvote bots. Go to https://steembottracker.com and you can learn about them and play them there :-)

BOING! You got a 6.67% upvote from @boinger courtesy of @nathen007!
