A SUPER BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!
This is very humbling to write.
If you've followed me for some time, you may remember some things about me. First off, until steemit came along, I never really spent any real time online. I knew how to watch a YouTube video, reply to an email, or perhaps browse craigslist, but that was about it. No Facebook, no Twitter, no Myspace, no Instagram. Computers seemed like some sort of combination that you'd get when your typewriter married your television, and they had a kid.
But... steemit was the "spider" that finally got me caught in the world wide web. A revolution in economics and social media took place, and suddenly people could "mine" cryptocurrency with their minds! Did I mention that I have no background in crypto either? Anyway, once I saw that STEEM and SBD could actually be converted to that thing people call "real money" I decided to try a little test.
GREEN HOUSE, OR HOUSE?
My original goal was to try to see if I could make $1000 USD on steemit, so I could purchase a geodesic greenhouse. Well, that time came and went, and I realized that steemit was capable of so much more. Interestingly enough, some steemians actually gave greenhouses to me.... twice!!!
First @weetreebonsai gifted me a hoop house frame and then @freedompoint and @freedomtowrite did the same thing! Setting them up is on my to do list, but still! That is insane. To make matters even more insane, is that we recently (like yesterday) moved a mobile home to our land. Honestly, steemit is what made this possible.
It may not be the most spectacular place to live, but it means no debt and no rent for our family. That is such a huge step in the correct direction. While I pathetically type this, I can't even begin to express the amount of gratitude.

Honestly, I can't possibly bless all of you enough to repay you for all that you have done. Each little piece of encouragement, each comment, each upvote, they all have combined to make this possible. I could not have done it alone, and I still struggle with understanding how it even happened.
For some reason, people seem to enjoy what I put out, and I thank you all for that! I'm not sure why some weirdo in the woods grabbing Snapping Turtles by the throat is interesting, but I'm glad that you think so... especially since I was going to do it anyway.
It's more than just a place to live that steemit has provided, it is also a place to be. I've made tons of friends that I will never meet all around the globe because of steemit. I've also met a ton of friends in real life because of steemit. It's become a place to share and be shared with, a place to encourage and be encouraged, a place to teach and a place to learn. Ultimately, steemit is what we make it, and you are responsible for what you are helping it become. I appreciate all of it like crazy, and and super blessed by all of you. Steem on my friends! Yes, i always enjoy everything you put out. You are real, you are natural and you are a great motivation. I admire you as a person and your achievements too. Yes, Steemit is capable of more and i intend to achieve more too. Steemit made my Laptop possible too, as your mobile home and a lot you have achieved too. So many testimonies as regards what God has used Steemit to achieve for me and i am eternally grateful too.

True @canadian-coconut, Steemit is changing lives of people, i left my HR job on April 2017 because i wanted to take care of my family full time and after leaving that job it was difficult to get the reliable Work From Home based jobs, and initially i was doing YouTube but everyone discouraged but i continued and one day in October 2017 while searching something i found this platform and literally speaking after that my life became really amazing, it doesn't mean i made huge but whatever i made it helped me to pass through from my expenses and also i met bunch of experienced people with whom i interact everyday and get the real time knowledge and now i have completed 7 months on this amazing platform and had an roller-coaster journey but really enjoyed it and i believe that exciting times ahead. Congratulations Papa Pepper! I'm still new to Steemit. I've only been here since March and I seem to fit right in. It is awesome to get to know you along with several others that live here in Arkansas. So maybe one day I can meet you and the others here in the state. So far I'm loving Steemit and I wish I would of signed up for it sooner. I've been a crypto fan for a couple years now and like you I'm hoping to use Steemit to generate enough income that I too can become a digital nomad living my alternative lifestyle. Keep on keeping on.

It might have to wait till after our son is born. My wife and I are expecting in September and have been very busy getting ready. He is due 9/22/18 but could come earlier. Right now we are 24 and a half weeks along and we still haven't got the house ready yet. I've been HODLing what I have left in Bitcoin till it goes back up enough that I can afford to cash out so I will have enough to pay for water, septic, and electric.

its great to see things can actually happen and be done here. It's really revolutionary i hope they keep the open mind over the years , after it grows out of its babysteps ... id almost curse that i didnt hear about it sooner lol.
