Will our Future Display Interface be able to Read our Mind and Show Up Instantly?

Today I want to talk about a cool idea that I have been thinking about. And that is what if we instead of having to scan an interface for value as we are doing with our smartphones and laptops. What if the information just showed up when we needed it?

So for example we would have something that could read our mind and instead of having to open up a phone and Google. Why not just have the knowledge show up on any surface? The question here is if it would be possible? And perhaps it would be a custom lens we can attach on our 2 eyes that shows a cool overlay on any surface to give us the data we desire. Clearly we still are a long way from having something like this.

We know at the moment that using a phone makes people stare down in public into this small screen which ruins social interaction. But people are doing this since the phone interface is providing so much value! So what do we know about new interfaces coming?

Well we know that virtual reality is on the rise and it will truly take over the whole world since it's like console video games on steroids. Because it hides the real world completely everywhere you look with your eyes. I had my sister try out my HTC Vive in late 2016. She got hooked and sat for 3 hours non stop with it! That's when I truly knew that a new interface that people will interact with will soon be here and become famous.

But the interface that I talk about in the future would be even more sophisticated than Virtual Reality. Currently the HTC Vive headset requires you to run it with annoying cables and attach it to a powerful computer. But this new mind reader interface would have to be smaller and not look scary for humans to use. Since we do not want to ruin the social aspect of peoples interactions. This new interface should be so good that you can both get data and not even let the other person be aware of it.

This would make us pay attention to real life more again. Because instead of having it on just a small phone the so called value we would be able to have it on any surface. And it would be a more social interface I believe! I talked about it in the past that smartphones have started to reach a peak and that it currently makes no sense to buy a phone above $450. Since phones above usually have only gimmick features these days. Many even come with glass backs that I have been very vocal and critical about in the past.

We know that mind readers is on the rise by doing a quick YouTube video search. We also know that people are using more voice assistants to make their life easier. This will only increase in the future since sound saves time. And in our Attention Economy that we currently live in Time is starting to become of more value than money. Since we have so many services right now that can help you to make more money. Clearly we are moving towards massive abundance!

3D printing will also be interesting and people may use that to create their own physical interface in the future. @taskmaster4450 has talked a lot about 3D printing this article for example. So instead of buying a brand you create your own brand. We as humans are all a brand walking around. We all want a cool brand! @dontstopmenow made a good DTube video on how you can make a brand look more exclusive by create a association effect with cool backgrounds and effects. I'm pretty sure in a couple of years that phones will be given out for free since they will be so low cost in production to produce. Already 2018 you could get a quad-core phone for 50 dollars. You mainly pay for the brand with new phones.

Developers will be a huge part of developing this new interface. If you want to get excited about the future for example on the Steem Blockchain go watch @exyle's latest DTube video where he talks about Smart Media Tokens. And one of the most exciting things I feel with SMT's is more value generation potential as @robert-call pointed out in this comment. This can be massive for content creators... Just look at the SMT photo from the official website doesn't this just make you feel inspired?

Since we don't know if it will be glasses or perhaps something that we will program to be inside our bodies. I think many are paranoid about a mind reader but I think it will be really smart and intelligent. This will make it even possible to earn money while you are talking to humans. You can become extremely effective. But with abundance on the rise in the world work will probably not be needed eventually. Since the robots and bots will be able to work for us. While we do 100% exactly what we want.

The new interface that would give us data only when we need it would probably be the new Internet and be built on top of a Blockchain. This would make any action in your life be able to be worth something. Our seconds would be able to have higher potential value if we invest some energy into something in the future. We are moving body work to cloud work.
