Three days ago, I come across this post created by the @dStors team. Being so involved in the Utopian-DaVinci collaboration as their community manager for the translation category and also actively participating in some other dapps lately, I have not had too much a chance to look into dStors until today.

After reading the dStors White Paper executive summary, I can see that dStors is bringing in much value to the Steemit community. This is the time where all Steemians need to look further in what we can do for Steemit during this down time.

Before I came on baord to Steemit, I have already been an entrepreneur running my business on the Internet in Amazon Kindle and my own Piano Music Website for 12 years.

So after I spent some time reading about the dStors campaign today, suddenly everything rings a bell for me in this new initiative, thus this post to make @dStors known to the Steemit community.

Although some people are feeling quite depressed and ready to quit, DON'T! There are actually some exciting things happening around the corners of the Steemit world.

1. Let's get started: What is dStors?

The word 'dStors'is an acroynym that stands for something for each letter!

D - Distributed
S - Shopping
T - Thru
O - Open
R - Reward
S - System

We are familiar with eCommerce. dStors is much more than that and takes eCommerce beyond a level that can only be accomplished by dStors. It is a business model built on cryptocurrencies to continue rewarding the partnership between buyers and sellers. As a result, a growing relationship can continue because of the existence of @dStors.

2. Buyers and Sellers Monetize their Shopping

@dStors offers rewards for both buyers and sellers

Ever since internet started back in the 90s, we have been buying a lot.

A lot of entrepreneurs not only buy, like me, they also have internet businesses selling their products.

I have been active on both sides: Buying and Selling.

I have so many websites selling products everyday where I meet new customers after they make their payment. Now, with dStors, more is in store for my buyers.

Here is the scenario of dStors:

Normally, the buying and selling stops after the payment transaction in eCommerce. My customers download my products and that's it. If they request a physical product, then the shipping department will send out the packages, and that's it in the relationship.

A. STORS token reward flowchart

Pay close attention to the end of the flow chart where buyers and sellers get STORS reward.

STORS Token Incentive Model: STORS token rewards to buyer/seller are triggered by completed transactions on the dStors.com dCommerce platform. Escrow security is embedded for transaction safety and security. These tokens can be spent for lucrative upvotes of buyer/sender blog posts on the Steem or Whaleshares blogchains or swapped for any other exchange listed cryptocurrency.

B. What can users do with STORS rewards?

Rewarded STORS tokens can be spent or cashed out. You can spend the STORS tokens to get upvotes for your posts. Or you can exchange the STORS into any currency on Bitshares.

4. dStors Roadmap

@dStors is actively moving forward with their project ever since the concept was launched a couple of months ago. The project was then presented at Steemfest 2018 in November.

• As you can see, quite a lot of work has been done.
• dStor White paper is released.
• Delegation Campaign began on November 25, 2018

5. A Call to Delegate to @dStors

This is the time where you can participate in this dStors revolutionary platform.

Presently, dStors has reached 130K Steem Power!

Any delegation to the account will yield a 1:2 upvote once per day on any one of our backer's posts.

That means if you delegate 3000sp and it generates a vote amount of 0.08STU (at current steem valuation) then you will be eligible to receive a 0.16STU (2x0.08STU) upvote once per 24hrs before our official launch.

We're currently building a custom bot to handle these operations so expect some cool announcement on top of this soon!

STEEM Power Delegation Campaign

1. All SP Delegation is required to go for 6 months. This will give dSTORS and delegators commitment to make the platform great in this process of development. All new initiatives require faithful and loyal delgators to sustain the intitial growth and challenges.

2. There are 3 Rounds for this SP Delegation:

• Round A SP delegators will earn 1 SP : 3 STORS Tokens
• Round B SP delegators will earn 1 SP : 2 STORS Tokens
• Round C SP delegators will earn 1 SP : 1.5 STORS Tokens

Here are some of the immediate benefits you can start enjoying if you delegate and become one of the early supporters of dStors:

Steem Power (SP) Delegators who delegate for a minimum of 6 months, will receive full amount of earned Tokens on the 1st business day of the 7th month. This 6 month increment of SP delegation can be repeated for additive STORS rewards but must be continuous. Three rounds of call for SP delegation campaigns will be run with the following STORS token returns:

All SP delegators will continue receiving ratio payouts with every 6 month time of delegation. For instance, a 12 month continuous Round A delegation will provide 6 STORS per SP. Any discontinuity within or between the six month segments will nullify the payout ratio.

Starting immediately:

• Prior to launch, @dStors Steemit account will provide upvotes on delagator's posts at 2x the value of their delegation once a day.

• Post launch, @dStors upvotes will first be warranted for STORS tokens submitted for upvotes. Any remaining, unused upvotes will be priority assigned to dStors related posts (including listings of products) made by delegators.

• A special @steemmonsters event that we will initiate for giveaways in our upcoming raffle that you'll automatically be entered into.

• Smart Media Token (SMT) protocol builds on the STEEM currency and will enable dStors to launch the STEEM backed STORS SMT token. SMTs are projected to be released in 2019 by Steemit Inc. and dStors fully intends to collaborate to be one of the firsts.
