Although rough markets like this are good because it drives those who don't believe in the tech away, it is a short pain for those who blieve and a buy opportunity for those who have extra fiat.
It really scary to see the market dropping daily , but as you said it's a shirt pain for those who believe and drives those who don't believe ..

BTC dominance is rising as many investors pull out of alts.
Steem isnt dropping very hard in terms of btc value, just slowly.
If it was dropping as hard as say eos, steem woul be at 0.4-0.3 in terms of sat value.
Simply put, btc going down, makes alts go down, btc going up without external money, makes alts go down(since the money is flowing from alt to btc)
Not even close to what was experienced around January to April of 2017.
Weve actually gone below $1 more than once this year.....
But for real, the Physcological effect of seeing it below $1......
