Is it just me or is Steemit really quiet right now?
My automated voting is draining my voting power much slower than normal because fewer people are making posts and the lack of comments under my last few seems to confirm this. What's going on Steemit?
Is everyone on holiday?
Or is everyone leaving Steemit out of depression because Steem is under $1?
The crypto market is still in a sorry state with BTC on its way down (after the insane peak last year), currently knocking on the door of the $6000 support level again. And in truth it looks likely to drop further before the long awaited recovery period fully establishes itself.
But this is no reason to despair!
Tether is there for a reason.
And patience is the most important virtue to practice regularly!
With Steem value low it is possible to earn more Steem with each post!!!

Those of you reading this logged in to your Steemit accounts I commend you. If like me you have ridden this wave for more than two years you will know what is yet to come and you will plant yourself firmly in this moment with the knowledge that everything is exactly the way it is meant to be.

Though at $2,900 I will not be buying one quite yet.

Im sticking around brother. I believe in this wonderful system. And yes,it's slow. Hopefully, things will pick back up this fall as the weather turns cold and more people return to being inside more. Also, I can't see your lamp picture.😞

Also, I am selling some sculptures and some ANTHILL art that I have made. They don't have lights in them, but I believe they are beautiful....and a lot cheaper then your lamp. So if they interest you let me know. Also, I was going to list them in your store, but I'm not sure on how to do it. I left a comment in the stores discord channel a while back. Just think of it like you were selling these items on any other site. Photos, Description, Weight, Price (USD), Location...
Use #steemshop as the first tag and include this infogram in the post...
And that's it! Once in the shop it will be there forever.

It wasn't this quiet last August so it must be the STEEM price. Upvote, follower numbers, everything is lower during this crypto bloodbath.

Whereas the sub $1.00 Steem is a bit depressing, we're not planning to go anywhere. There probably aren't any $2900 tumbleweed lamps in our future, but that doesn't mean quitting Steemit... heck, getting within a whisker of a long-term goal of reaching SP!
10,000 SP would be a pretty number to have :)

I don't post according to the price of STM -- a post is a post is a post. But it DOES seem awfully quiet around here, with less people visiting my blog, and less comments on my and others' posts. Maybe summer vacations have something to do with it too?
I am thinking it must be a little bit related to the Summer holidays???

Hahahah that lamp is elegantly beautiful, but for that price? Maybe in a few years to come, for me.
The atmosphere around steemit is discouraging, but i am following advise from the crpto gurus and sticking around.
Your crypto gurus know what they are talking about. Earn as much steem as you can while the value is low. Back when I first started it went down to $0.07 but boy it was easy to earn a decent amount of steem as a result. At one point I made it to 10,000 SP before the price rose up again and I guess you can imagine the look on my face when the value rose to $8.
This moment will come again :)
It’s quiet but not TOO quiet. Still great content getting out here. To be fair I kinda had to go absent when the price was high Lol! Now I’m back.
