Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 11/4/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 11/4/2019

Should you be trading with Steem today...?

We reached dolphin after 30 months I'm sure once the price goes up higher it will be more beneficial to us all. Now then on March 10th we have seen Steem reach it's highest for the year at $0.55 along with SBD's which also had a breaker on March 13th with it's highest being $1.41. With Bitcoins 9 days ago they reached the $5000 mark the highest for Bitcoins which was also marked on the day at $5317 but now it's highest is $5390. For the last few days Bitcoins and been holding around 5300 but today it's been falling down pretty fast going from $5338 to $4981. For Steem they were trying to hold around the $0.50 mark as we began rising but right now that is not the case. Our overall ranking position is around #50 amongst all the other cryptos. As you know we beat the January high marking our highest value at $0.55 which we were recently close to beating. The past 3 days have been presenting themselves with better opportunities to buy into Steem and I must say a fall in Steem was expected but was still a little surprising how far it fell. Anyway today offers the best opportunity out of the previews with us starting at $0.47, lower then yesterdays $0.48. We join $0.47 already falling the first drop was only at ⏰02.05 which is surprising considering how much Steem as dropped. So of course it had to get a little faster with dropping to $0.45 by ⏰03.35 we then had $0.44 by ⏰04.30 and briefly $0.43 at ⏰04.50. I say briefly because it jumped back to $0.44 and surprisingly stayed there until ⏰10.50 which is when it dropped quickly to the $0.40 mark it recovered at ⏰14.10 to $0.42 and it's remained there ever since. Anyway if nothing much will happen for Steem in 2019 which is slowly looking more doubtful then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting because right now we are in a seriously good place to grow our accounts remember as the price goes up higher collecting actual Steem becomes more difficult. I also want to make it clear that I was apparently wrong in pulling the trigger too fast that we was out of survival mode, it seems according to Steem INC they still found themselves to be in survival mode but now we are officially crawling out. But longer in survival mode the conclusion from all this is to continue cutting of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Did you know that after the wallet split from steemit.com is complete that both logged in and non-logged in users will see the adds on Steemit.com, I would rather not but understand this is part of keeping us out of survival mode if that was to happen again. It's also come to my attention people are still learning about the wallet split and feel this will continue to be a problem for a while so please have your keys backed-up, yes ALL of them and dont use your masterkey to log into Steemit.com, also when you click on your wallet yes you will be directed to a completely different website which should be "steemitwallet.com" please dont worry as this website is safe and part of Steemit.com. After your initial log-in you wont need to use your masterkey and so if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's they broke record March 13th reaching $1.41. Currently SBD's are at a "normal" pegged rate, yesterday's SBD's actually done well for being at a normal rate but today they barely managed to hang-on. We started today almost the same way, in a good place between $1.04 and $1.05 but SBD's started to fall by ⏰01.15 to $1.03 it continued to fall slow till ⏰00.05 where it got a break but holding at $0.98. Still at ⏰11.25 the falling continued.. not for long this time round, until ⏰12.50 but by then SBD's reached $0.95 the lowest for today. At ⏰15.15 it recovered back to $0.98 and $0.99 which is where it remains.
