Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 12/1/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 12/1/2019

Should you be trading with Steem today..

Last year Steem and SBD's were booming we leave 2018 with Steem at $0.26 and as for right now Steem as mostly been around $0.28. We were seeing some very slow movements from Steem which got it going upwards Steem finally reached $0.32 for 2019. I was also expecting a downwave from Bitcoin which I mentioned 3 days before it downwaved but I guess I should of figured the Steem-fall delay was because Steem was going to go down with Bitcoin's fall instead. Well the wave as come and hit us it's a shame as Steem fell from $0.32 to $0.25. If your a buyer this is a great opportunity to buy a little more incase next time it starts going up it wont fall back down again. Bitcoin on Jan 6th was at $4075 and as now fallen to $3588 its already recovered and started averaging at $3620, also buyers remember Ned as been powering down possibly assisting Steem going a little cheaper, it all depends on timing so good luck. As for today Steem as been very smooth at mostly $0.26 we did have it fall again to $0.25 around ⏰07.45 to ⏰15.15 if you brought Steem between those times they would of been your best bets, we can also see recently it managed to sneak up to $0.27 but seeing how things are going there is a high chance it will go back down. If nothing much happens in 2019 then I hope all those who are in the game will take this opportunity to keep collecting Steem. And so with these low prices we are still on a survival mode era of Steemit.com, Bitcoin dropped drastically forcing Steem's value to tank causing Steem-INC staff reductions and a possible threat to the website. The conclusion was to survive by cutting down costs of nodes among other strategies which will take time to implement. And right now there is a focus on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Steemit INC said they are on track with it's cost reductions and with SMT's. If you haven't logged out of Steemit or searched the website without logging-in then you maybe have noticed Steemit.com is selectively rolling out advertisements, that's right those who wanted advertisements.. well it's here and its genius, its not intrusive at all so I'am happy for those wanting them in the first place, you just have to log-in and you wont see them. As you may know SBD's fell from reaching $0.86 down to $0.73 very quickly, we saw there was some recovery taking it to $0.75 but then continued going downwards today, SBD's mostly stayed at $0.72 but managed $0.73 again after a median downbump taking it quickly to $0.59 at ⏰13.45 luckily and a relief it recovered back $0.72 at ⏰13.50.
