Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 4/12/2018 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 4/12/2018

Should you be trading with Steem today..

Today Steem was being strangely more bumpy we check in with Bitcoin to see if this was our own market pattern like how buyers are feeling about Steem or if it resonated with Bitcoin..and turns out Steem is just following orders from Bitcoin, which also as you may have guessed from Steems numbers that Bitcoin as basically been under $4000 for most of the day except for around ⏰15.00 when it went over reaching $4021. But that was for only around 25 mins and it was also around that time when Steem had its highest upbump 👍 taking it to $0.33 the lowest for Steem today was $0.30 at ⏰06.05. But regardless we continue on I welcome you into a new survival mode era on Steemit.com after the staff reduction of %70 news from 7 days ago by Ned. This is because Bitcoin as dropped alot lately and is forcing Steem's own value to tank downwards. Soon after there was a special live get-together for discussing 👍 what could happen going forward, it starts with Steem INC cutting down on more costs e.g the "api.steemit.com" will have its functionalities moved to the hivemind service, there will also be new caching and CDN strategies for images. In a few more days there will also be another meeting 👍 on all this progress. / SBD was also being bumpy today but not following on with Bitcoin, anyway but sadly SBD fell to another low being $0.78 but atleast it managed to recover later, we only saw it's highest today at $0.81 hopefully we wont see it go down any further.
