In this post I want to look at how we can use upvote buying to build our steemit account fast in detail.
Like I mentioned in my earlier posts steemit is a great blogging platform and an online business rolled in one. All my posts so far focus on growing your online business side of the steemit becuause, I strongly feel, especially for the minnows with weak blogging skills, that growing the business side of the steemit is done easily. The beauty of steemit is that it allows you to build your online business and at the same time develop your blogging skills.
To conduct and build our steemit online business and to grow our steemit account fast we have to understand how the different monetary units - steem, steem dollar and steem power - works in steemit. To put it simply, steem and steem dollars are similar to our bank current account and steem power is similar to bank long term fixed deposit account.
In our steemit online business we can use the steem dollar and steem like current asset (working capital). Steem power on the other hand is like fixed asset.
With our working capital(steem dollar) we do our day to day business namely buying upvotes and turn it into fixed asset(steem power). How profitable your business deal will depend on how much you pay for your upvote and how much SBD and SP you get back after 7 days in the form of author reward. The magical rate here is 1SBD=$2.75. This is the ideal rate meaning if you can get $ 2.75 vote value for 1SBD, you will be able to get back 1.03 SBD plus 0.26 SP after 7 days.
If you get $2.65 vote value for 1SBD, you are in negative cash flow meaning although you are profitable. You only get back 0.99 SBD of the 1SBD you invested.
If you get less than $2.15 vote value for 1 SBD, you lose money.
That is why you lose money buying votes from bots because their current rate is 1:2 maximum 1:2.2. Is there any place you can buy upvote at 1:2.75 or better? One of the big problems with the steemit newbies(Minnows) they get started with a lot of enthusiasm after looking at the payout amounts in the posts in trending and hot posts, hoping that they can get at least a fraction of it. But, when they post their posts at the beginning as newbies, lacking the support and following of big account holders, all they get is a few pennies and a few upvotes, if they are lucky. Discouraged and heartbroken they leave the steemit never to come back. Some of them stay a little longer hoping for whales and other big fish to help them. That rarely happens.
What we, minnows, have to do is to take pro-active action, help each other and grow fast. How can we help each other? There are many ways to do it such as upvoting, buying and selling votes from minnows. Sharing ideas and strategies to grow our accounts fast. But in order to do it we have to form small communities and grow together.
