UPVOTE YOURSELF ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF STEEMIT'S PYRAMID WITH BOTS!!!

The initial goal of Steemit was to reward users who had the best content but the end reward is money. where ever you find money you'll find greed. Steemit has become a selfish platform where users can use their own voting power to reward themselves. it has become a platform where not all users are getting rewarded for their great content. Steemit has been designed like a game where not all the best players win.

I might sound a little bitter but only because there have been times i had spent hours on a post and it didn't do well at all but when i posted a picture of a cryptokittie i bought, the post made $27.00 STU. Steemit is built in a sort of pyramid where users must find a way to attract the attention of people holding all the Steem power. Since Steemit is money driven people are more concerned with how they themselves could earn more rather than going out and reading or watching content created by inferior accounts. idk. but this seems to be a major flaw that could hurt Steemit. As an introvert, i find it difficult to want to brown nose the whales for financial gain.

As a Steemian and a holder of very little Steem power it is easy to notice that the less Steempower you have, the less your voice matters. it is very much like the real world. the rich get richer and the poor keep on with the struggle. i would like to be able to Steem full time but it doesn't seem to be a stable form of income unless i'm spending massive amounts of Steem that i dont have on upvote bots. i don't care how engaged you are with Steemians on Steemit, the only way you're gonna earn is if you become good friends with people who will take the time to check your post or put you in their steemvoter. after a while people get busy and don't have the time to read everything you post unless your a real good content creator and people watch your channel.

Odds are, you think your posts are golden but the truth might be that nobody really gives a shit about your content except you and maybe a few Steemian friends you've made. it isn't easy creating good content let alone keep pushing it out on a daily basis.

I not as active as I would like to be - this stupid 'earn a living' thing gets in the way of my free time..
I just keep chuckin along with my 20c posts ;)

spend some of that money you've earned on bots and you'll start seeing progress.
i know what you mean about the rat race. i'm working two jobs and still broke. minimum wage went up and so did everything else. https://discord.gg/WFBqPe come check out the discord chat and meet the steemians.

it has become a platform where not all users are getting rewarded for their great content.

Become? It was always like that!

i guess once you start seeing how it works and no the tricks the mystery goes away. it's like finding out Santa is real.

It's an investment though, I just invest in my own posts. I wish people would stop promoting it as "like facebook but you get paid" because most people won't make shit. It's more like youtube where a small number of accounts make most of the money and the vast majority of channels never make anything. The good news though, in my opinion, it's easier to find Steemit success than Youtube success

I agree with you, when you have $10 on your post after few minutes, more ppl will pay attention to get curation reward of it so like you said its pyramid, more people looking for curation, more people upvoting and so on :)
