很多人认为股票很简单。买一股股票，几天、几周后股价上涨的话，卖的话就是“放进包里”，运气不好的话股价就会下跌，卖的是“停止损失”，赌注就会输。

价值投资会复杂得多。由于价值投资通常是逆向投资，投资者购买了大量当时市场上看不到的其他投资者不乐观的股票，因此，即使购买优质公司并确信购买价格低于内在价值，购买后也会相当长时间不涨甚甚至持续下降。所以“价值投资，不提高怎么办？这个问题对坚持思考、实践和价值投资至关重要。
