Newcomers in DANGER: @steemit is not only Powering Down the whole Active SP...
Sorry but I think this is crazy!
We already know that @steemit is powering down the whole ACTIVE STAKE and they already have prepared "Automatic Withdrawal Routes" straight to the major Exchanges, Bittrex, Polionex, binance etc...
...and I already said in a previous post that this company is going to affect the price of STEEM in a massive way...badly, of course...
But, what happens with the STEEM POWER that @steemit was delegating to?
Can you guess?...Of course, they have just triggered the UNDELEGATION process...
So, exactly in less than 5 days, @steemit is going to recover all their Delegated SP... fair enough I would say taking into account the strategy they seem to follow...
... but, do you know to whom is affecting?
Very easy, check steemworld and you get this:
It is concerning the @steem account which is the account from which any newcomer get in delegation around 15 SP in order to DO SOMETHING with the blockchain... with less than that and after the HF20, you cannot do anything...
But surprisingly, every day more newcomers are opening a Steem account, receiving the tiny delegation of around 15 SP from the @steem as a "Manoeuvring power" for the first weeks...
Even till now, every 4 or 5 minutes, a new account is created and so, a new potential steemian is IN:
ALL THESE ACCOUNTS ARE GOING TO BE USELESS IN FIVE DAYS UNLESS THEY REALIZE WHAT I WRITE HERE
IF YOU ARE A NEWCOMER WILLING TO BE ACTIVE IN THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN, PLEASE TAKE NOTE ABOUT...
I also want to alert to some newcomers and "tiny" SP accounts which are active and engaged with me that you should do something in order to be ready for the consequences of this UNDELEGATION of the @steem account...
I am using the tag #introduceyourself since I believe I may reach more newcomers...
There are other options. Steem.Ninja for instance, offers the ability to buy an account. So does AnonSteem. I think Steem onboarding is going to have an option as well.
That much STEEM hitting the market won't be good for the price. But maybe it'll provide more incentive for the Witnesses to gain better control of the blockchain as well. Steem was designed to belong to the users, after all, not Steemit.
Yeah...also @actifit offers that service...

Steem account has 11 million steem by its own, and at the moment they are not powering down. They need that much SP to be able to claim discounted accounts, which they continue to do. All delegation to new comers is not endangered by the power down started by steemit, only some dApps that were sponsored by Steemit. Next days will be interesting, and I think not easy to predict...

Thanks so much @toofasteddie. I always read your updates and take things you say into account. You make more sense than 90% of the people on here with their advise. Also your posts are always so easy to read and understand. Do you suggest a power down for regular folks who are minnows? Of just keep steady and see what happens?
Honestly, I cannot give that advice...I am trying to figure out what’s the best strategy now for us, minnows and dolphins...
I think that powering down some of your stake now and selling for FIAT may be a good move if your intention is to buy again, and so, getting more Steem for the same amount you get in FIAT...but... who knows what will happen...

@toofasteddie, I registered a friend of mine a week ago, @artwoman. And she didn't receive the 15 SP delegation. So, probably Steemit has already stopped delegating SP to Newcomers.

If these delegations become undelegated then the newcomer will have no SP to work with and nothing to do with his account.
