As @dragosroua said "5 years in "crypto time" is a huge time interval", so who knows, but I think it should be the Steem and the Steem Dollars (SBD).

Why?

I have couple of reasons, let's see:

• Very fast transactions.
• No transaction fees. You can send/receive as little as 0.001 Steem or $0.001 SBD.
• The number of the users of the Steem blockchain (not just the Steemit, but other Steem related websites as well) is getting bigger and bigger and the community is getting more and more active.
• There is a project on the Steem blockchain, which rewards open source contributions, including developments, translations, graphics works, analysis, tutorials, video tutorials, bug hunting, suggestions, visibility related (marketing efforts) posts and other types of contributions on Utopian.io.
• There are some people, who left their (well paying) jobs in real life to work with Utopian.io full time, such us @elear. He wrote a post blog post about it 6 months ago (on 2017.11.06):
  Utopian: I have Just Left a 13K/Month Job For Making This Real.
• The Steem blockchain with the Steem and the Steem Dollars (SBD) is already changed the lives of many people around the globe, including my own. Some people bought CARS and even HOUSES with their Steem and Steem Dollars (SBD) earnings! I bought food and a hot plate in the previous weeks thanks to the Steem blockchain and I still have money in my bank account from Steemit worth approximately $982.76 USD. That's a lot of money for me, because my monthly income in real life is 68 480 HUF, which is currently (2018.05.12, 10:10 CEST) $259.60 USD, because $1 USD is currently 263.79 HUF (Due to my multiple disabilities, I am living on a low pension-like income).
• Because of the working method of the Steem blockchain (Steem Power, author and curation rewards), the community members are helping each other by giving upvotes to others using Steemit and other Steem blockchain related websites, such as the previously mentioned Utopian.io or the Busy.org.
• There are very good Steem blockchain alternatives to YouTube as well! Even better than YouTube itself. Yes, I am talking about DTube and DLive. A lot of people (including channel owners with huge numbers of subscribers) are came to DTube and DLive from Youtube for multiple reasons, including the recent changes in the rules of monetization of YouTube.

These are very strong reasons and good advantages over other cryptocurrencies, but who knows what will happen in the next 5 years.
For example the Facebook is recently got involved in the blockchain technology and the Facebook reportedly plans to launch its own cryptocurrency. Who knows what they will make even in the next 1-2 years. Maybe the Google and the YouTube (and other companies as well) will also do something similar in the future.
