Build Relationship : Connect , Communicate , Engage

Steemit has been one of my avenue to express myself. At first , i thought it would just be a platform where i can publish my write ups like poetry , or just some general knowledge or how to articles. As time goes by, i am sharing my thoughts , experiences and even how a usual day of mine went through , especially now that we have @ulogs #ulog specially created by @surpassingoogle. Those shared moments which i never thought have touched and awakened the feelings of other steemians , who might just had same experience or belief as i have .

Everytime I share stories ,specially about being a mom , i will be seeing comments saying , "i can feel you, or i know the feeling" , or something like , "i totally agree with you @zephalexia " or those encouraging words that is really a big thing for you to continue steeming. Those simple words and efforts to visit others' blog makes a big difference , you see You are communicating, communicating by expressing how you can relate to a certain write up . We are showing how real humans are , and that's what we are ,right? Humans do have senses and we have the total control of the words we say or we comment . By simply typing words on somebody else's blog you are indeed showing that you care and you would not know that might have made somebody felt better . That is why it so important that whenever we decide to write a comment , make it sincere who would want to read a comment that would just say , " Brilliant, please upvote and follow me" , or "upvoted , please upvote mine too " and there goes the link. Isn't it good in the feeling if the author will have some fruitful and meaningful words from you , that is actually also benefecial on your end because , by commenting from the heart , the author will remember you and everything essential to both of you will definitely follow.

There goes the real connection . Engagement is really the key. If you are able to build communication and connection it would soon bloom into friendship , a deeper relationship that can make a very big contribution to the community. You have to show the real you as well , you have to make them feel that we are all humans , we might have a lot of differences in terms of culture , language , beliefs and all others , but one thing is true, we are all human and we all have a heart, a heart that truly understands no matter what.

On my journey here on steemit , i have seen and observe that there are still those who see others like numbers who would upvote their posts every single day . Well , frankly speaking i would say i am a hypocrite if i won't admit i am one like that too, there are times that you would have a mindset that i need to do this, i need to write because i need to earn , let's all admit that fact that $ is of course a reason why we are here . But i came to a realization , especially during this times that Steem and SBD's value is not really amazing , that , hey! what keeps you writing? you can't even encash right away if you need it because you feel it's not the right time, but why? why am i still here? At first, it was just earning that is on my mind upon joining steemit, but you know , as i've met , connect , and became friends with steemians on this platform , that's making me more of a steemian. It's like widening my horizon ,exploring things while learning with others and in a fun way at times . Well i want to confess as well that after we transferred here in the new house , i notice to myself that i engage less now than i am before , please do understand that i am mom of 3 and i do all chores everyday, LOL. But you know, i will attest that connecting and engaging with others has really made my steemit journey more meaningful and enjoyable. Just express yourself , join groups , discord channels , find where your niche is and wherever you are comfortable to be who you are, surely you'll have friendship that you definitely can treasure , and the rest is history.

This might apply especially to newbies here on this platform , (well i still consider myself as a newbie here ,) trying to learn something new everyday. Steemit journey takes time, it's something that you have to work with , do not just post there and get out of your phone or Pc. Connect, by building relationships , real friendship, it's not just the learning you'll gain , it's more of You will understand why, what, who and all other questions. You would have a better perspective of other people's experiences, experiences that can be an inspiration and motivation for you too. And don't ever forget as well , that , even you've already has this certain connection with someone , you still have to have the humility , respect and love for the work of each other.

In my 189 day-journey here on steemit , i just wanna take this oppurtunity to thank all of you who has been a part of it, well continously still are. I know you are too many to mention ,but just want you all to know that you are all special and have this part in my heart. You are making my steemit life more challenging and awesome in it's own way . I know i don't have lots of followers , i may not have lots of fans as a ulogger , but those few i've got especially the family and friends i have made in this platform , i am truly grateful to have met you all. The connection i have with you guys will surely continue forever.

This platform has brought lots of changes to me. The learnings i've got , the experience of meeting different kind of people from all over the world , with different personalities and attitudes. Let's build a genuine connection , a realtionship that would make steemit more productive and outstanding.
