Breakfast with a view!
Nothing beats a hearty breakfast, I mean hey - it's the most important meal of the day... right - and it is made even better by being able to enjoy it with a fabulous view! What an amazing way to start the day! We are so blessed here in Cape Town to have such amazing scenery to feast our eyes on no matter which direction we turn in!
The other day we decided to go grab some breakfast at Jonkershuis Eatery which is about a 7 - 10 min drive from where we stay.
There is plenty of variety in terms of selecting where to sit, but the wind was a little chilly so we opted to sit indoors - although, having said that... you are still able to enjoy the views. I was absolutely ravenous so I got stuck into the menu straight away! Ordered my latté and began deciding what to fill my belly with!
The decision was simple! I settled on the eggs benedict with ham and instead of sourdough (because I really am trying hard to stay away from carbs) I requested that it be served on a bed of sliced avo instead! It is the perfect "base" replacement and seriously, you can never go wrong with avo!
It was a GOOOOOD breakfast!!!

Eggs benedict - my best! I can do without the rocket though. Parsley, I think is a better choice. But then you looooove rocket! LOL

I've read some articles about the situation of white farmers in South Africa. Seems not valid for all regions there.
Correct. It is definitely more prevalent up country - but either way, its just so tragic.
