Roasted pumpkin chili 🎃( step how-to tutorial - VEGAN- with many photos) / 🎃 Geröstetes Kürbis Chili

By: @avizor

1.jpg

So thanks to @thekitchenfairy with the idea to make an awesome chili with the pumpkin . The other ideas were also very good, and it was a hard decision for me! I decided for this idea because it looks good for a prepping meal which you can eat, without loosing taste or texture, also after 2 or even 3 days :-)

Mommy Rant #1: The Bully

By: @jusipassetti

Recently we’ve been dealing with a very sensitive situation with my Son. Last week he came home and informed us that another child in his class pointed a knife at him and wanted to stab him. Even though it’s been more than a week I still can’t believe that it happened. In my mind it makes no sense. It feels almost like it’s impossible for that to have happened and my mind just can’t accept it as truth.

I want to ask you guys to say a prayer for the people who will be affected by Super Typhoon Mangkhut that will pass through the Philippines this coming weekend but not only for us but for all the people who are being affected by calamities and are having a hard time right now.

@jaynie Style Pork Stew

By: @rwedegis

A couple of days ago @jaynie posted her French Style Pork Stew recipe. She had me salivating like Pavlov's dog! I just had to give it a try. I used similar ingredients, but do to my limited space and patience, my cooking method was completely different. I used my pressure cooker for this! Everything was ready in less than an hour.

Kale , kale and more kale.

By: @lizziesworld

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned how during my absence of about three weeks, my kale had been infested with aphids and I had to go to war on them with a water spray. The plants were also looking very sad and had lacked water too. Well after some good TLC and some gorgeous rains, the kale plants are looking really healthy and strong again.

Creatively support your mental health - the "WHY" game

By: @zen-art

There are two ways to live your life. One is to let your thoughts and emotions control you and the other is for you to control them. This is not something that you can master overnight, especially if you are dealing with anxiety or depression but let me tell you a little secret... People who have or had those problems are more likely to learn how to control their thoughts and emotions and after they get better are much more healthier and happier than those that did not have those problems. This is because we start working on ourselves only when we have the problem. If you do not have it, be wise and work on yourself too ;)

The Wonderful Mystery of Being "In the Flow!"

By: @denmarkguy

Back in the 90's, there was a very popular psychology/self-help book entitled "Flow" by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Yes, that's his name. No, I can't pronounce it... Although I never actually read the book, lots of people around me were eternally talking about it, and I came to understand a few things about this idea of "flow."

UPDATE: Beneficiaries on a Post

By: @thekittygirl

I recently wrote about how to set Beneficiaries on a Post. At that time I thought it was a splendid idea for assuring that charities (or Steemians in need) would receive the support they needed. HOWEVER... At that time, I had set @youarehope as the beneficiary on a particular post. When that post paid-out, though, I was surprised to learn that ALL of the rewards paid to the @youarehope charity was resolved 100% in Steem Power (SP) with NO liquid Steem that could be spent immediately.

My daily art. Shell. Step-by-step.

By: @prostosun

Hello my dear friends, followers and guests of my blog! Summer is gradually leaving, and again we are busy with work and school. Summer holidays have passed and it's time to leave. Remained only the memory of this wonderful, warm and cheerful summer. The photos in the album and the seashells from the beach will warm us for a long time on cold winter evenings. In memory of the passing summer, I drew this sketch:

What My Garden Gave Me

By: @foxyspirit

IMG_20180911_092006[1].jpg

Ah, the time to be cultivating, it's such a rewarding time, to pull the plants out of the ground or from the stem is like receiving a trophy. Only you can eat it. But this year my garden has, well let's just say, the soil was on break. For the entire summer. That's ok though because I did manage to get a few things and a lot of zucchini. I tried growing perhaps too many things at once without knowing enough about the plants I was growing. Being gullible on the space it needs to grow and how much water it takes versus the plant beside it. There is a lot to be considered.

Thank you also SteemitBloggers FAMILY!

this all are awesome...

They are indeed :)

I have not given you enough love my friend. I don't exactly know how to given the time that I have at the moment. I'm always thinking I have enough time for this and that but it just doesn't go that way lol. But I am here and going through a few posts hoping to spread love across the world as I can.
Thank you for sharing me :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Ok now that I have showered you in kisses you might just want to go clean up... I drooled a bit...

hahahahaha!!!! Oh lord you make me laugh @foxyspirit!!!! hehehe - and it is my pleasure as always!!! As for the time thing, stress less!!! Its called life and we are all in the same overloaded boat haha :) Have a super duper weekend honey!

Water down some neem oil and spray on your kale to get rid of the aphids. It's harmless to humans but smells truly vile (rotting onions) so you might have to wash your kale before you eat it if you haven't had much rain. Growing Borage closeby helps too as it attracts lots of aphid predators. I produces more nectar than any other plant. Careful if you have kids as it will swarm with bees. I usually have masses of bumble bees though and I think they are really cute.

oh interesting!! Thanks for that share @sugarfix - I am certain my mom @lizziesworld will give that a try!

Neem is supposed to be amazing for your hair too. I made up a batch of shampoo but it smelled truly sick making so I experimented with various mixes of sandlewood, rose, peppermint, benzoin oils. Absolutely nothing could mask the smell. Gave that one a miss.

hahaha sounds like you made the right call.... wouldnt want to walk around with that stench stuck to your head haha :D

really a stunning post

Thank you
