Every garden should have this plant

This is bulbinella or bulbine as it is often called and is such a useful plant to have in the garden.
It spreads easily, can take full sun and is not fussy about soil conditions.
As a border plant, it works very well and the lovely pale yellow flowers that begin in spring make it a worthwhile plant to have.

However, this plant is wonderful for bee and other insect stings - just pick off one of the leaves, squash out the gel like substance and rub on the infected area.
It is also good for burns, as well as relieving sun burn - I have also used it on one of my grandchildren that was suffering from a bad skin irritation and on my daughter for a bee sting.

It can also be used to rub on cracked and dry skin - once dry, the area will feel lovely and soft to the touch.
