Halloween Spirit in New York City
Holiday season is around the corner. I love window shopping because retailers are getting very creative around this time of the year. We are very close to Halloween, but I didn't see many decorations around Times Square area. I saw this sign tough:
Well... let's see what else we can find! A few blocks over I saw this amazing dragon. It is in the window of HBO building. I love this shot, it looks photo-shopped, but it is not! It looks like the dragon blows out steam, right?
The steam is on the street, some construction is going on. By the way, it looks like there is a perpetual problem with the steam pipes in Manhattan. So, the steam is a reflection. You can see Bank of America Tower letters backwards.
Here is the window photo again, un-cropped. Look closer and you will also see me wearing a blue shirt and taking the photo. Cool, right?

Yes, you can get unusual sights everywhere. City life is interesting, but nothing as interesting as nature. Your shots of animals are amazing @joanstewart 😊

Awesome pic of the dragon. I thought Halloween was huge over there? I'm surprised you are not surrounded by spooky stuff.
We are planning to go to Bran Castle (Of Bram Stokers fame) in Transylvania for October 31st. They are having a Halloween party there. It should be exciting and a bit creepy as well.

It is huge here, but my walk was in the business area, that’s why I didn’t see many and actually I wasn’t looking for spooky stuff. I checked your profile and you Iive in Bucharest, what a small world, I was born in Constanta. I didn’t visit in 20 years, I am planning to go soon. 😊
Very cool. I have only briefly visited Constata to watch Dinamo and Viitorul play football, so I need to get down there to see the coast.
I have been in Bucharest for just over two years now and I like it very much.

Ah, I am jealous around this time of the year, for sure ! We don't really celebrate halloween here in australia :(

Love the photos @starjewel! This area of Mexico for a while did "our" Halloween, but now they've taken back their own tradition of Day of the Dead, and it's magnificent! I'm hoping to get lots of photos to share here :)
