Glassy Mountain [ulog #10]

There is a lovely little mountain near where I currently live that I find to be quite charming. It has a particularly large outcropping of granite on the north slope that reflects light and shines like glass when the weather is rainy, so the locals call it Glassy Mountain. It is what geologists in North America call a monadnock, although the term "inselburg" is used in Europe.
