BEING ONE WITH GOD
🙏​Genesis 2:24 - "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

God sourced Christ, Christ sourced Man and Man sourced the woman (1Cori 11:3, James 1:18 & 1Peter 1:23). What we call a rib in Hebrew is "a Piece". A woman is a part, a gene, a cell, a clone of man thus a man sourced (Abba-ed) the woman. And God decreed a decree, "What I have put together, nothing can separate them for they are one flesh."

Amos 3:3, "Can two walk together, unless they agree? This brings to light why wombed man and a foetus in her own womb are not one except with her husband who sourced her. This is why love is a foundation of marriage though it doesn't keep it together. LOVING somebody doesn't guarantee them loving you back. GOD loved the world that LOVE (Christ) came down on earth (John 3:16). He loved us first before we even knew or loved Him (1John 4:19, Ephesians 2:4-5). But today as we talk, How many have responded to that Love?

Jesus said in John 14:21, 23-24; he who loves me keeps my words. Just like anybody can "obtain love" since we all have been created with the ability to receive and give love (Mathew 7:12). However, not all of us can maintain that love! This is why many men today find it easy to win ladies' hearts yet a few can treasure them (Mathew 6:21). Beauty attracts them yet it is only character that keeps them committed.

Implying maintaining love is growing in it, allowing it to cease you! I call it "Getting Lost in Love" (Colossians 3:14, 1Peter 4:8). It is why in Hebrew culture love has got to be taugh and learnt. Love is understanding the ability to respond the value of something. The only way to maintain something is to increase it (invest in it). It is called faithfulness.
🍌 The act of maintaining love is what we call faithfulness and is what keeps marriage/relationships knit together. Faithfulness and Love have to meet each other says the Psalmist in Psalm 85:10-13. Love is a responsibility that calls for transparency. Faithfulness maintains, grows and increases love.

When you accept Christ to be the Owner and Savior of your life, He comes into you to relate and commune with you. He joins Himself to your human spirit to be one Spirit 'with' you; not to you (1Cori 6:17). He came into you that you may reign 'with' Him 'In Him' as He is 'In You'. There is no worse feeling like being with somebody yet you still feel lonely. You had better be to yourself than be with somebody whose presence is as good as their absence! God said in Genesis 2:18, It is not good that the man should be alone... The phrase "that man should be alone" indicates that it is a personal initiative (choice) to either be alone or not. You either choose to love or not. Don't fall in love rather stand (your ground) in love. It is only a puppet who lacks principles. God is no respecter of people but His principles. God doesn't choose for anyone a marriage partner or even a friend but only parades them for one to make a choice. If He did, we would blame him for almost everything. If we even blame the devil for our succumbing to his tricks yet it involved our decision the first place.

Being in Christ is one thing, Christ being in you is another all together. It is possible to have Christ in you (be saved) yet you have no relationship with Him (Romans 8:14). You have Christ in you but you are not in Him! You have the Holy Spirit in you but you know Him not. He has no influence in your life affairs. You are only saved but not son. Because only those who are led of the Spirit are sons (Romans 8:14, John 1:12-13). Evaluate yourself today and make a decision to draw closer to Him and He will draw closer to you (James 4:8).
