THE WONDER OF A THREE D PRINTER FOR CHILDREN TO KNOW.
Something we would never have thought was possible is making a three D printer, but it has become a reality.
I read this about a three D printer that make body parts as well as an ear for someone who loses it.
Did you hear that? Probably, if you're wearing a 3D-printed ear created by Princeton University researchers. The bionic ear, made from calf cells, a polymer gel and silver nanoparticles, can pick up radio signals beyond the range of human hearing. To make the ear, the researchers printed the gel into an approximate ear shape and cultured the calf cells on that matrix to create something appropriately biological. An infusion of silver nanoparticles creates an "antenna" for picking up those radio signals, which could then be transferred to the cochlea, the part of the ear that translates sound into brain signals. However, the researchers have no plans to stick the ear to a human head. Yet.
We have so many wars going on and there are so many people who do not come back as they were because they have been injured during the war.
It is so sad and yet it is a reality.
They can even make guns from these three D printers which is not such a good thing.
So like everything in life there are good, and bad things that develop from a new invention.
So we even find that they are becoming cheaper, not so cheap that anyone can buy them but for sure there are people who can afford them.
We must tell children about this wonderful invention, and for this reason we can teach them how wonderful it can be to start thinking that they must see that entrepreneurship is a wonderful thing.
If we find that we have children, who are forever inquisitive about new things, or working out how things work you can be sure that they will be very good entrepreneurs.
I found this ear being made and I am putting the piece about it in here as it is so interesting.
You cannot believe that this will be possible. So maybe there will be better things that come from this. Guns are not good as they are plastic and cannot be picked up at airports or places where someone should not go in with a gun.
They will not need a licence and this can lead to some trouble. Yet they are also making limbs that are wonderful for people who need them.
It is a catch 22 situation, as when bad people use them it will be a problem yet good people can really do wonders with them.
It is probably, time that we make a detector that can pick up plastic as well to prevent horrible things happening.
The world has really moved so forward in technology since the time our parents and grandparents were born.
I am old now and these things fascinate me tremendously as it seems unbelievable that these things are possible.
I truly think we should teach children about this wonderful printer and teach them that it is only there to do well and not for being bad.
I know this might sound silly to you but being old all these things are so fascinating to me and I think if we teach children the right way to use them it will be safer for all in the world.
When we were born and grew up there were not even televisions and now we have these things that help people, to help people to make their lives better.
