When the instructions are followed and you are careful as a scientist, the laboratory will be an experience like no other. Scientists know that when they work in the laboratory, it is very important to take safety measures.

• Rinse any chemical product, especially an acid, with water. If you get in touch with your skin or clothes, tell the teacher.
