Introduction

I love community effort because joining hands together is the best way to leverage the power of all. I love education because knowledge is power. Now you probably know why I support and decided to promote @steemiteducation. @steemiteducation is an amazing community of teachers and educators that support each other. This community hopes to make the world a better place by promoting educational posts and authors that create them. Read exactly how they put it:

The steemiteducation account was started to bring all educators together on this platform. We believe that education gives us better knowledge of the world around us and it changes the world into a better place. We are a close community and young and old, work together, to share ideas, teach each other, and learn from each other.

So to support and promote this amazing community of educators, I will make 2 posts each week - every saturday and wednesday - to review my 5 top posts curated by @steemiteducation in the last 2 or 3 days. I will probably increase the number of posts if I have the time to read more. The aim is to promote the community and authors that volunteered to spread knowledge. This is my little contribution to support the efforts of @steemiteducation for bringing teachers and educators together.

So lets get into the business!

My top 5 posts for today 15/5/2019

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. PEOPLE CAN LEARN FROM ANIMALS HOW TO LOVE

In this powerful story, @methusalem showed all that loyalty despite hardships is possible among humans. He told of cow and dog that were friends and the cow was sold because of hardship. But the family bought the Cow back because that Dog felt so bad about its friend. The family endured hardship just to keep the friendship between these animals. A powerful lesson in loyalty learned from animals. Why dont you click the link and read the article by yourself.

2. Development of Trains and Cars - Info and activity for scholars

If you love history, then this might be for you. In this short but informative article, @anneke traced the history of Trains and later wrote about that of cars. You probably know a little about the locomotives. But did you know that the first train engine called "The Rocket" was built in Britain in 1825. Did you also know that the first cars were made entirely by hand before Henry Ford started making the "Model T Fords" in a factory? Read this short history and you will find more surprising facts about trains and cars.

3.Bones, muscles and joints

The Skeleton!!! We all probably saw one at school. @alishi nicely explained the functions of the skeleton which includes protecting internal organs. The article also explained why bones differ from person to person. Joints and Mucles were also covered in this article with very comprehensive videos to explain these to kids. I bet you will enjoy this article even as an adult. Just check it out.

4.THIS IS WHERE YOUR WINE CORKS COME FROM

The moral lesson of this article is to teach kids to preserve and cherish some valuable things in life. But far from moral lessons, @bigbear showed that anyone - including kids - can learn real facts about wine corks. For example, I never knew that corks are made from special trees that are more than 200 years old. This is really amazing. You will love to watch the video included in that post. Just click the link above to head over to the article.

5.What is the importance of educating in attention for proper learning? - General education | Part 9

Its a world full of distractions and it may be a struggle to remain attentive. But in this post, @cindycam offers practical benefits of being attentive which - strangely for me - includes happiness. Another interesting benefit is that it helps you fight and overcome your fears. Why not pay attention to this post and explore other useful benefits of paying attention

The one I liked best was the 4th one related to wine corks. I find such unusual facts more interesting to know and read about instead of the standard knowledge.
Thanks for sharing this.

I found it interesting too. Thanks too for checking it out.

Wow! I know about this community but I have never looked in to their activities. With such great and educative posts, perhaps I will start looking out for some of these posts during my leisure time.

The fourth post kind of catches my attention the most and I learned something new from it. My best out of the five. The first post is equally lovely and the others are not really something for me but are still good.

I will rather keep an eye on your future selections. Thank you!
