Introduction

I love community effort because joining hands together is the best way to leverage the power of all. I love education because knowledge is power. Now you probably know why I support and decided to promote @steemiteducation. @steemiteducation is an amazing community of teachers and educators that support each other. This community hopes to make the world a better place by promoting educational posts and authors that create them. Read exactly how they put it:

The steemiteducation account was started to bring all educators together on this platform. We believe that education gives us better knowledge of the world around us and it changes the world into a better place. We are a close community and young and old, work together, to share ideas, teach each other, and learn from each other.

So to support and promote this amazing community of educators, I will make 2 posts each week - every saturday and wednesday - to review my 5 top posts curated by @steemiteducation in the last 2 or 3 days. I will probably increase the number of posts if I have the time to read more. The aim is to promote the community and authors that volunteered to spread knowledge. This is my little contribution to support the efforts of @steemiteducation for bringing teachers and educators together.

So lets get into the business!

My top 5 posts for today 5/6/2019

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. UNBELIEVABLE WHAT THIS BOY IS DOING BEING BLIND AND AUTISTIC

I featured this article by @methusalem first because it is so much motivational. The young man in playing the piano in the video and singing as well is blind and autistic. How his mother helped him to learn to play and sing though blind is exceptional. Much more surprising is how the young man himself was able to overcome his disability to achieve amazing feats. All of us can raise above our challenges and become successful if we are really determined like this young. Please check out this article.

2. How to teach my son to be grateful?

Ours is a world where people feel entitled and quickly forget the goo that happened to them. @roseri showed in this article the importance of teaching kids to be grateful. Much more than saying "please" and "thank you", kids should be taught that gratitude should be their way of life. To teach kids gratitude, parents must take out some time each day to list with their kids some situations to be grateful for. There are other things that could be done too to develop gratitude in kids. Find out if you read this post.

3. A YOUNG MAN AND YOUTH TRY TO SAVE OUR WORLD

How different our world would have been if all our young peopled cared about preserving our lovely planet earth and helping to save the environment. In the video featured in this post by @bigbear, see how some young people made efforts transform an otherwise wasteland into a fruitful and beautiful place, then think about what you can do each given day to give back to nature.

4.Know your facts on HIV and AIDS - Video lesson for teenagers

@anneke featured 2 videos in this article that helped explain what HIV and AIDS are. These are the kind of subjects many young people will avoid because of the stigma associated with being HIV positive. Far from being a comprehensive passage video, teens can get to know a lot of things about HIV and AIDS. For example, it answers the following questions: Can you cure HIV?, How can you get HIV? And many other questions. Be sure to check them out.

5.Things we don't learn in schools- How to use the internet safely)

This article by @giantbear really touched a vital area most people take for granted - internet safety. When we use the internet, we need to take precautionary steps to protect our identity and image. For example, the article suggested using updated antivirus software, being wary of what we download and using a secure internet connection. There are more. Find out yourself from the article

Wow reading your posts always brighten my day. Makes it easier to find the gems I might have missed myself. Great work there pal. If everyone thought like these ones think, the world wouldn't have half of the problems it did. The third post is amazing,we need to preserve our environment. Kudos

I think it's great that people take initiative like this. Even though it's not there mess to clean up, they see an issue that needs to be fixed and then they go fix it. That is inspirational as anything!

thank you for taking the time to curate these posts. :D

Happy you found my work useful. I admired that story of self-sacrifice too. If all our young ones would do things like that, the world would be far better than it is now. Thanks for dropping by.

@focusnow, In my opinion, if God gives something incomplete to people, we saw in many cases where they are filled with most amazing creativity and art. Life is very unique journey and we have to enjoy the art. Stay blessed.
