Daily Guitar Workout #5 - Major 7 Goodness.

Greets DTubers.
If you are not familiar with major 7 chords, then this lesson will be right up your alley :D

Let's take a chord and look at how it's made.
A chord consists of a certain set of notes from a certain scale placed on top of each other and played all at once.
Usually, the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 8th note of the common Do Ray Me Fa So La Te Do scale.

Do being the 1st, Me being the 3rd, So being the 5th and the high Do which is the 8th.

Play those notes individually and you will hear a resemblance to the sound of the tannoy at your local supermarket when something is being said across the store.

If they added a Major 7 instead of the 8th, I think shoppers would head to the booze aisle, crack open a bottle of creamy Baileys and head to the biscuits and cheese section for some intellectual conversation about retail goods and services.

It really is a sultry sound and can't be mistaken.
