Solidarity in children is one of the most important values ​​we can teach and reinforce, since it is in childhood where it can take its deepest roots. Solidarity has to do with giving, with giving, with recognizing a logic, that which says that what we have doubles its value when we share it with someone who needs it. Today friends of @steemioteducation I want to share with you a wonderful experience that I lived a few days ago and that I use as a tool to teach my children the meaning of Solidarity and that I am sure will remain engraved in their hearts especially in my daughter's Major Sophia.

Tapaton 2018

It is an event organized by the Anzoátegui Tapas Foundation, in favor of oncology patients at the Children's Hospital of Barcelona. It is a foundation responsible for collecting tapas and recycled material which is paid for money that is aimed at helping children with cancer and special needs such as Autism.

For months I began to explain to my children that I was trying this event so we began to keep the covers of all the plastic containers that we got, as well as the plastic pots. Do not forget that children find in each experience a place of training, so I decided to take them to this event and learn through experience.

As I have already told you, a child is preparing very early to be an adult. This means that in the future you will have to face a labor world that you do not yet know. However, it will be necessary to learn as soon as possible the values ​​of teamwork, which require solidarity and companionship. The sooner you internalize this end, the sooner it will adapt to all kinds of environments. In the additional event several non-profit foundations participated, they worked in order to raise funds for the same goal, to help children with Cancer, I explicitly dedicated to walk my children through all the estanes where they presented the products offered by all made with recycled material which in turn showed my children the importance of recycling and everything that can be done, especially for a noble cause.

Solidarity is one of the most beautiful values ​​that exist. It is therefore necessary that we do not turn the little ones into solitary children unable to share. The world is much more beautiful if the child enjoys company.

There were several activities that took place during the event, including the donation of hair to make wigs for children who have fallen for medical treatments, many people and many children collaborated, my daughter was one of those who had the honor to collaborate with this noble cause, feeling very happy to be able to help other girls. As I say, teaching is very important with the little ones. You have to arm yourself with patience and explain again and again, with simple words and simple examples that the child can understand, without falling into frustration or stress. These events are usually a wonderful tool to make them understand the meaning of Solidarity, it is an arduous road, but the reward is wonderful.

Organizations like Dr Yaso, made up of students from the last years of Medicine, took the task of going to the Hospital every day and making them feel that nothing is going on and that everything will be fine, giving them a smile inside. all that world of medicines, exams and doctors that surround them every day.

We have seen that the importance of solidarity in children is vital, we live in a social world in which relationships are necessary. It is therefore very important that children learn the values ​​of sharing, helping, knowing how to give in at certain moments and, ultimately, coexisting in society.

Many schools took this initiative to promote and educate their children in the Valor de la Solidaridad, they made collecting days for a while and as they were doing it from the school and from home, they took the opportunity to educate the smaller, the day of the event they met to go all together to deliver what they had collected and share this beautiful experience, so it is also an idea that I give to teachers who are reading this publication to implement it in their classes and your students can learn through experience.

Note that the event was a success and that they managed to raise more than 10 tons of recycled material that will be aimed at raising funds for children with cancer, being an ideal event to motivate, educate and instill our children the importance and value of Solidarity, so I recommend all parents and teachers who have the opportunity to get involved in this type of activities and involve their children as well, to do so since it is a wonderful experience, where they will only get rewarding rewards that will help your children, because it will improve your social skills as an adult, will provide you with a happier childhood and will allow you to inhabit a much more kind and generous world.
