EVEN and ODD NUMBERS
Though kids in 2nd grade are taught about even and odd numbers but in 4th grade math this is a must know topic to advance further in mathematics. It is very easy to remember even and odd numbers.
Kids in 4th grade should be able to sort out even and odd numbers from the given group of numbers. In this post there is a lesson plan including a small drill to refresh students' memory on even and odd numbers.
Once kids get able to recognize even and odd numbers then they get ready to learn prime and composite numbers. The key is to keep the contrast between these categories of numbers and know properly which is what.
